There's nothing to show that he has even been offered a deal.
There have not been any reports that we will sign but there have been numerous reports in Europe he has been offered a contract by Olympiacos the same team that signed Childress. The contract would be considerably larger than the one Childress got. This is not rumors either the owners of the team have stated they have made the offer.

He can claim whatever he wants. The OWNERS of the team, two rich brothers stated they did in fact make an offer to him. You are talking about the team's general manager says to the Chicago press about a matter in trying to steal him from the Bulls.
The owners of the team said that Gordon and his agent didn't accept the offer but they made it very clear AFTER Childress was signed Gordon was offered more than Childress got. I don't care if you don't believe it.
