he had such a genuine love for the game.. and for the Braves and their organization, he had a love for his job.. you can just tell by the way he would enthusiastically announce games.. everyone in the organization loved him.
Just thinking about his call in the 92 NLCS when the braves came back to win against the Pirates and hearing him scream "BRAVES WIN, BRAVES WIN!" ...man... that was one of the happiest moments of my life.
and now he's gone... I won't get to hear his familair voice during Braves games anymore, I wont laugh at some of the silly things the he says.. i feel like I've lost a friend... and i still can't believe that I won't get to hear Skip anymore.
