If you were working as a cashier at Walmart for $8 an hour, then you get offered to work at K-Mart for $40 an hour, would you want to stay and be the best cashier Walmart has ever seen and get the Employee of the Month, or take the money and go to K-Mart?
K-Mart FTW!
That is completely different. You can't really support yourself for 8 dollars an hour. So of course you take the job.
If you are already making 10 million post taxes, you got more than enough money. 40 million more a year, doesn't really matter. Unless you have some big plan to own a team or become the richest man in the world.
And I'm not being a hypocrite. If I was happy where I lived and was making the 10 million, I wouldn't leave the country for an extra 40 million. I'm not hating on any player who decides to take the money either. Just pointing out, when you are making that kind of money, a pay raise doesn't mean as much.
