We thought that he had little patience with the offense. We both commented that we didn't see him do much at the line of scrimmage. My buddy felt that he should have recognized the defense on the play where he nearly had the ball intercepted on the driver bobble (would have been drivers fault, however Rodgers did throw another on of his dodge ball throws, but it was right where it should have been).
Over threw a wide open player for what would have been a HUGE play...
We both felt he spent more time in the huddle than we are used to.
Left the game shaking his hand, wincing, and being looked at by the trainer 10 min later.
Overall we felt he was out there really working, where we are used to Brett looking like he was playing...if that makes any sense.
We didn't feel he played bad, but surely not as well as other commented on. Didn't keep stats durring the game, but being there, I got a much different feel than people who were watching on TV.
DB, let me ask you this, do you have, or know where you could get, Steve Young's game logs after he took over for Montana? I think he came in during the season...

'''Jones should have caught the long pass, very slow out of his break and he rounded off the pattern, Rodgers threw to the right spot....Driver, Jennings, and probably Nelson pull it in.
Rodgers shook his hand after the first series and came back and looked very good...Sitton got beat and it was the play where Rodgers got hit on the side of the knee...that is a ridiculous point.
Of course you got a different feel, I expect you will have a different feel all year.
