I'm in a terrible slump right now...it's sad. I have a pretty good swing but the last two times I've played and yesterday at the driving range EVERYTHING went to the right. I'm talking bad slices. Thank God a certified PGA professional works at the range and gave me a free lesson for an hour.

I need to get rid of my graphite clubs. Too light for me, I need steel.

Started working last week. Not being able to not do anything throughout the day will take some time to adjust to. LOL

^ That's pretty much what being a professional is like, right there.

Regarding the weather, I swam in the ocean yesterday. It was a lot nicer than I had expected.

I think the horned helmet and speedos probably helped.

so brief Danny being Danny story:

I was super happy to have a quiet weekend with only one day show planned. I went to go watch the Kings hockey game at the bar with my buddy and it was a damn good game vs Carolina. Then my buddy got a call that we should get free drinks downtown from his gf's sister and see some good musicians who never play together jam out. My buddies came from LA and met me at the redneck bar.

On a side note, I had a bloody mary that was good but fricken hot hot hot, like maybe a habenero was involved. Anyhow- the music was good, so we ended up closing the place out. We lost most of the group, but specifically the guy who was driving my buddy back to LA. Finally at 3:30 he starts responding to the texts and the club door opens back up. We went in and I was handed a beer. Then the cops came to the front door, so the owner is whining about the ticket he'd get and we were escorted to the office where they couldn't look in.

Awaiting us in the office is my buddy, and two Mexican dudes with 18th st ties. Bad news cause 1- the little guy was one of my previous stories last time a guy pulled a gun on me. 2- there's a mountain of snow on the counter.

We were pretty surprised to see each other, it was an interesting moment. He showed me his piece and I rolled my eyes at him and pointed at the cops. There was a festival right outside the bar the next day, so we realized after a bit that the cops were going to be posted up there all night. I was trapped in a bar until 7am with 5 dudes doing things I don't do and getting all philosophical about life. It was actually pretty classic how level headed and reasonable the stuff the gang bangers were. We talked race, religion, cock fighting, animal rights, and music and all in all they really were shockingly well informed and cool about everything. The owner on the other hand, just kept trying to impress them about how he was from the inland empire and how bad ass he was and tough life was out there. Honestly, it could be for all I know, but it sounded like poser b.s.

I had to play my show on 2 hrs of sleep, but it was pretty good all in all. And hell, I was pissed the next day when the club wouldn't comp my drinks until my buddy reminded me I drank a free twelver waiting for morning at he bar.

Anyone ever been locked in a bar or retail store? My dad and sister were locked in a grocery store once for a few hours when they were shopping late.

So when are you cashing in on your biopic? Stories are a little too good to waste on us.

Hmmm maybe we should colab want to ghost write it? I'm too slow to write books I've decided. Posts and songs are more my style. Course maybe I'll just copy and paste all the posts and add a little detail haha.

I'm sure the Inland Empire has totally crazy parts but this was coming from a hippie wearing a rasta hat and open chested Hawaiian shirt.

Some day I'd like to recap what the Cock fighting breeder was saying about race and chickens. He was talking about how you have to get the aggressive mexican chickens to breed with the smart white chickens, then when the mix is stable you add the murderous irrational Filipino chickens and you have a champion in the making. He was saying he'd like to do that with UFC fighters. The thing that stuck out to me was how hard he was on Mexicans and he was one. He seemed to hold white people in great esteem and think very little of his own people. You rarely see that. I'm pretty sure he wasn't sucking up to anybody either... I mean, he had the gun.

Btw, a gay chicken doesn't make any sense - in a bad way.

It must be one of those lesbian chickens - in a bad way.

The thing that surprises me about ftgc is that it's been up for like.... 8+ years. There's nothing more to it, though. It just sits repeating variations of the same thing like it was Verbal post padding. 8-)
