Brendan Haywood $5,500,000
ronald murray $1,500,000
=16.945 *125% =21.181
This gives the wizards a good young wing, a defensive big, and fills the need for a backup SG.

Yes, I confirm, TMAC called 4 hrs ago saying he didnt want to play the 2, and said he wants to get rid of Haywood, I lose depth, but who the heck cares? Mo Williams / Iverson / McGrady / Horford / Ilgauskas is a damn good core, haha.

Mo Williams and Iverson offensively doesn't work, defensively ditto. Just some advice from the former Hawks G.M, that trade would have sent you back quite a bit...

Dallas accepts this deal. We lose a very capable PG, but move him for future trade assets. Nazr has a long term deal and compensated by the second round pick additions. However he is a capable backup C who holds value.

Dallas accepts this deal, we remove some major expirings from our roster but grab an exciting you SG to work with our new young look roster. Ridnour should also be a nice backup PG. Battie's experience will be great for the young bigs here.

I'm pretty sure both Gomes and JR are BYC, but the math works out with that too:

Minny Out:
Gomes- 1.825
Gadz- 6.250195

Duhon- 5.585
Gomes- 3.65
Gadz- 6.250195
Mihm- 2.5

2010 Minny 2nd

Incoming: 17.985195

Dal out:
Duhon- 5.585

Max Incoming: 7.08125

Dal in:
Nazr- 6.049400

2009 Chi 2nd
2010 Hou 2nd

Either way Minny accepts both deal simultaneously (meaning both need to go through for me to accept either one - I'm pretty sure I'm able to do that)

Minny feels JR is a great compliment to Deng on the wing- as we now have an inside-outside game. Pietrus brings another defensive presence on the wing and a backup to Deng. Tinsley gives Minny a third pg after the loss of Ridnour.

You have to be making more than the MLE to be eligible for BYC. At least that's my understanding.

Nuggets accept the deal with minnesota and dallas. While we may be losing a little bit of talent, adding both duhon and gomes allows us to solidify our bench. Stevenson was not a apt SF and will play much better at the SG position. Duhon is a much more reliable backup PG for the future and gomes has a lot of potential. Gadzuric for Mohammed is a slight loss in value but gaining 2 picks should help.

ALSO, The 2010 Minnesota 2nd round pick goes to Indiana to fufill the requirement for the Tinsley trade.

mle has nothing to do with byc. byc is only related to the use of bird rights and the amount of pay raise the player receives.

Charlotte Incoming/Phoenix Outgoing: Jerryd Bayless 1,993,560; Tim Thomas 6,049,400; Robin Lopez 1,623,720; Drew Gooden 7,151,183; 2009 Chi 1st round pick; 2009 Phoenix 1st round pick; 2012 Cleveland 1st round pick = 16,817,863 x 1.25 = 21,022,328

21,022,328>19,835,081 (works for phoenix)
18,832,913>16,817,863 (works for Charlotte)

several teams requested a veto for this trade, four i think.

my reasoning: both of these gm's have been involved in the game since the start, so i can't use the excuse that they are too green like i did with the other veto.

the big piece in this trade would be emeka okafor. all the vetoes mentioned the difficulty of finding quality big men as a reason that okafor was being sold way too cheaply here. the way i tried to break the trade down was assigning the minimum value necessary for okafor, and then looking at what was left to see if its at least somewhat fair. to that end, i thought bayless, the number 11 pick in the draft and summer league mvp, robin lopez, the number 15th pick in the draft and legit 7 foot defender, salary relief in the form of a good pf in drew gooden, and that 2012 pick was the bare minimum for okafor. that left wallace for a two yr contract and 2 09 first round picks. now, the fact that option 2 won makes these picks a little worse than they would be in relief life, but that really only affects the chicago pick. wallace's constant injury concerns were also something to factor in (missed games last 4 yrs with charlotte: 20 games, 9 games, 27 games, 12 games. most games played in first 3 yrs: 54). this also is consistent with the direction that the bobcats gm has been headed in the whole game.

now, i think its obvious that phoenix got one heck of a deal here, hard to argue that. however, the amount of youth and salary relief charlotte gets is legit value.

trade approved.

The Orlando Magic have a trade to announce

The Magic will send

Wally Szcerbiak - 13,775,000

The New Jersey Nets will send

Larry Hughes - 12,827,676 x 1.25 = 16,034,595 > 13,775,000

The Magic are excited to acquire a defensive talent such as Hughes. Hughes has shown the ability to play both backcourt positions and will be an ideal fit next to Caron Butler, and as a mentor to Nick Young. We wish wally all the best in NJ .

The Orlando Magic and the Oklahoma City Thunder have come to terms on a trade

The Magic will send

JJ Redick - 2,139,720
Eddie Jones - 1,976,400

Total 4,116,120

OKC Thunder will send

Zaza Pachulia- 4,000,000

We needed a big man and we got one. Pachulia is a 7 footer with a soft touch and should compliment both Dwight and Haslem perfectly. We wish JJ all the best with the Thunder.

The Thunder Accept. I really didn't need Zaza. I had a surplus of bigmen and needed some swingmen. Yes Redick has been a bust so far but he's another shooter that will thrive here in our new uptempo system. Eddie Jones brings a veteran presence to the team. Thunder would like to waive Josh McRoberts to make room. Josh McRoberts $711, 517

Don't want to be picky about the OKC/ORL deal, however since i released Eddie Jones, shouldn't his salary be a minimum contract since his $1,976,400 deal is still on my cap? Doesn't affect the deal at all, however, it shouldn't count against OKC's cap situation.

The Nets confirm. While NJ like Hughes' defense and versatility, the ability to trim more roughly $12 million off the books was too important to pass up here.
