Good Lord! What happened? Before all the WR injuries, I actually believed we were not only favorites to win our division, but had a reasonable shot at securing one of the top 2 seeds in the playoffs this year with a little bit of luck and good play.
2-5 and facing a tough Philly team this week without Hasselbeck. LOL
It wouldn't be half so bad if you could attribute most all of it to the injuries. But you can't. Our pass defense has blown this year. It wasn't too long ago that I thought our draft priorities for next year were simple enough:
1) Offensive lineman
2) WR/QB/S (best available)
Offensive lineman seemed like it would be a no brainer if there was real talent there. A big WR made sense, as did drafting a future QB to groom behind Hasselbeck. Safety seemed a possibility if a real stud was to be had.
Now I don't know what to think.
