If The Hawks Win...

...the next three games and get to 5-5, I'll start paying closer attention again.

That is all. :)

If the Hawks Win...

Both games against Arizona, we just have to match what they do to make the playoffs. It doesn't seem as far fetched as it used to.

Arizona did look good today against Carolina, they should have won that game.

Still seems pretty far fetched to me. Rams & Niners aren't very big feathers to stick in the cap, more like mosquito wings. How are the Hawks going to get even one win against the Cards when Warner will probably throw for over 400 yards in each game? The Cards still have five game left against our sad division. That should be plenty enough to get the job done even if they lose all the rest.

Haha I guess we're in 2nd and not that far behind. I've also been expecting a Card Collapse. I'm not sure if I do or don't want the 'hawks to sneak in the playoffs through the backdoor and get wiped up in first game, though.

Hass is sounding done for the year to me. I guess I would like for Senecca to get some real experience and success under his belt, though, so maybe winning helps us. But, cripes sakes. I'm so over Jennings and our safeties. Can we get some safeties who can wreak havok in the lanes, and a corner who isn't 4ft tall?

Good Lord! What happened? Before all the WR injuries, I actually believed we were not only favorites to win our division, but had a reasonable shot at securing one of the top 2 seeds in the playoffs this year with a little bit of luck and good play.

2-5 and facing a tough Philly team this week without Hasselbeck. LOL

It wouldn't be half so bad if you could attribute most all of it to the injuries. But you can't. Our pass defense has blown this year. It wasn't too long ago that I thought our draft priorities for next year were simple enough:

1) Offensive lineman
2) WR/QB/S (best available)

Offensive lineman seemed like it would be a no brainer if there was real talent there. A big WR made sense, as did drafting a future QB to groom behind Hasselbeck. Safety seemed a possibility if a real stud was to be had.

Now I don't know what to think.

What's this about Mora commenting recently that he wants the Huskies job after Willingham leaves next year? My dad heard it on the radio a few days ago.

Is there any truth to this? He said that is his dream job. I know he went to UW too.

He said that pre-hawks and now he's said he is definitely not a candidate for the job as he is succeeding Holmgren as the Seahawks coach.
