The Grizzlies' resources for acquiring a shooter may be limited, however, given their reluctance to disrupt their core group and contractual barriers. Second-year guard Javaris Crittenton has been the odd man out in the Grizzlies' backcourt and someone involved in past trade discussions.
Conventional wisdom suggests Crittenton and forward Hakim Warrick, who the Griz didn't offer a contract extension, could be trade bait.

You guys think we could swing a deal for anyone of those players without giving up key players. Since they are about 8 mil under the cap a 1 for 1 swap could work in terms of salary issues. They are looking for a shooter and I don't know if a change of scenery is needed to help improve Stack's shooting but yeah. Crittenton would be a huge upgrade over Barea in terms of size and potential and its too bad he is in the situation he is behind Lowry and Conley. I don't know how Warrick would fit when we have guys like Singleton, Williams & Bass already in the system.
