I'm not sure I get your point. But I think we agree... Yes I live in Canada and yes I know he was coach of our national team. But I'm not sure how you compare that experience with NBA coaching. There's quite a big difference obviously. I don't think any of us can say for sure that he'll succeed. But it was said earlier, there must be a reason why he has the respect that he does.

Moving from the NBA assistant coach postion to the NBA head coaching postion would be a natural move it's called Succession. He was a coach in the league already(here) being groomed to one day be the head coach the job is his which is okay with me being Canadian.
