Maybe I'm a bad person for enjoying someone losing their job so much but

Poor Triano.

BC has almost given him the Judas kiss.

our only hope is if Mitchell was indeed suppressing his assistants' plays and Triano can suddenly (i.e. with limited to no practice time) whip up and institute some D and O schemes

lol....Can't believe I missed this.
Obama did not shut down the practice of torture, but merely repositioned it, to the American norm. The torture regime of Ford through Clinton, year by year, produced more US-backed strapped-down agony than was produced during the Bush/Cheney years.

I am not surprised at all. After last night's game, i knew he is definitely getting a pink slip soon. I wish we could have done it before but i understand that BC gave a few games to Sam to prove what he can do with JO in the line up.

I can't see Triano here for the rest of the season unless he can turn things significantly around very fast, which I highly doubt.

All the old TJ supporters seem pretty pissed off about this.

I wonder why......

I don't know how this is going to go now with Jay as the coach for the season. BC actually thinks this Team is better then the record. This team needs serious Wing update.

I'm not sure I get your point. But I think we agree... Yes I live in Canada and yes I know he was coach of our national team. But I'm not sure how you compare that experience with NBA coaching. There's quite a big difference obviously. I don't think any of us can say for sure that he'll succeed. But it was said earlier, there must be a reason why he has the respect that he does.

Moving from the NBA assistant coach postion to the NBA head coaching postion would be a natural move it's called Succession. He was a coach in the league already(here) being groomed to one day be the head coach the job is his which is okay with me being Canadian.

Don't be so sure. Jay knows his X and O's, and will listen to the assistants for a change.

When does any high profile coach ever get hired during the season? He will more than likely stick around for the rest of the season.

Anyone else get the feeling that the players more or less made this happen?

Last night's game was a joke. The players just stopped playing and sealed Sam's fate.

No one cares if your Canadian or not, we need a good coach, not an assistant! We need experience!
