he is also turning into a Lil whinner who moans and cry all day. His game is one dimensional, committs stupid fouls. He should have known during the game that the refs were whistle happy yet he kept going physical up front around midcourt to the 3 point line. He needs to suck it up and take partial blame. Instead of playing man d on CP3, he kept testing the refs by harassing him around midcourt. 3 fouls in 3 minutes. He also went 3 point happy all night instead of playing a discipline offense.

I understand he is emotional but he makes too many excuses. In the finals he kept complaint about the refs and Celtics being dirty, this year he is unhappy with the refs. He belongs in Boston with his excuses.

Rick Fox was our emotional leader in the championship, but never did he cry or moan about the refs or opposing team being dirty. Fox always did something about it. If teams were dirty, Fox would be the first to play dirty back (his hard foul on Malone and Foster showed he was not backing down). His WWF style on Doug Christie showed how he will fight back if you dare hit him. Fox refuses to give other team credit if they won but never did he pointed fingers at refs and cry to the media. He would always man up and convince the team to be more intense. We need a Rick Fox in the locker and not Sasha crying ways.

I agree with Tony, minhee, and probably everyone else -- Sasha needs to STFU and play ball. He has always been a whiner and it drives me ape-sh*t. If I have to see that stupid look on his face with his palms in the air one more time...

That being said, the refs were particularly horrendous last night. Sasha never got his head back in the game after that bogus third foul was called on him. Joey Crawford doesn't like whiners (see Tim Duncan), players all know that, and must play accordingly.

Sasha continued to run his mouth EVEN after Kobe addressed his wrong doings and told him to Shut his mouth, yet Sasha came back at Kobe running his mouth.
Me personally Im sick of of Shasha and his Flopps his mouth and at least last year he was doing well and we could tolarate his crap, this year not only has he SUCKED but he has done more damage than good.

This is one of the things that Phil specifically talked about during his interview on KCAL (or whatever it was).

He implied that we have a habit of not adjusting to how the refs are calling the game (sometimes they let physical play go, sometimes not) and we end up in foul trouble and crying about calls all night. He said that you can usually tell early in the game how it's going to be called and that the team needed to adjust their style of play based on that, which is clearly something we weren't doing.

Sasha is whining because he is only effective on defense when he is allowed to pester his opponent. Last night the refs just weren't having it and Sasha failed to adjust. He needs to quit bitching and listen to Phil more often.

On a side note, it's amazing how well Ariza played CP3 in the 2nd quarter. He wasn't all up in his face but he was far more effective than Vujacic because he kept him from getting in the lane and forced him to pass the ball early.

feel free to contribute in the game thread were there is plenty of criticism towards all players that deserve blame. don't go around talking about people blaming sasha for a loss when no such thing occured. hes part of the reason, but no one called him the reason.

Machine has a point about the officiating last night, but you have to move on. Sending a letter to the league is going to do absolutely nothing. Some nights officiating is like that and you have to battle through it, not complain, and move onto the next game.

I don't think Sasha deserves all the criticism that you guys are giving him, but at the same time, he does need to check himself at the door. He's not Kobe, Phil or LO. Blaming the officials is the easy way out - no matter how deserved it is. Quit crying, move onto Golden State tonight, and stick some threes.
