He was buried on the depth chart, but was a pretty solid player IMO.
He was a hard nosed Bear type player. He will be missed.

I trust Angelo a lot and I know he got us something good for Harris but still, I really liked Harris as a player(except for that stupid thing he did with promising that guy Superbowl tickets) and I hope he does well.
Edit: Wiretap says we traded him off for a 5th round pick which is decent. I was hoping for more.

we are covered if brown are AA get injured as we have D. Manning. This makes snese. We don't need both guys as the odds of both getting injured are slim. And I hear they really like Payne, so more draft picks for a kid most likely not to make the team and get a pay raise if he did is fine by me.

I don't see this deal as hurting the Bears much or really helping them. I thought Chris Harris was underrated but still mediocre. Just had to clear up a logjam and Harris was the odd man out.
No harm done, unless the entire secondary gets injured, then there'll be an issue, but that's a bridge best left uncrossed.

I guess the fact that we at least scored a draft pick in the deal is good, but I'm sad to see him go. I know we have plenty of depth in the secondary, but what happens when Brown gets hurt? I'm not 100% sold on Archuleta yet, and if he goes down too then we've got Manning and Payne with nothing much in reserve. I know we had plenty of safeties, but they also have injury histories.
