Perk on KG: "I could tell he's not 100%, he was limping, but he's a warrior. I'd take a 70% KG in the playoffs but we want him healthy."

It would be nice to have him for the Cleveland game but other then that I'd rather him rest him to make sure he's ready to go. We all know KG, he will be there for the first playoff game with 100% intensity. Obviously I'd rather have him healthy now but I really think this will do us good long term.

KG's knee injury was serious when he was out 4 weeks instead of the 2-3 that was initially reported. Then it became worse after returning, there was swelling. It's too bad, because our window for title runs is small with PGA getting up there in age. This makes it that much smaller.

All this means is he misses the next 4 games which are stretched out over 2 weeks and have very little importance at all. If he comes back for the last 3 games hel play against Cleveland, Phila, and Was to close out the season. The first of the 2 games will be a perfect judgment game for this team heading into the playoffs for implication purposes.
Il reserve judgment until then.

You shouldn't be worried. Worrying doesn't help anything. It is what it is. So we don't win a title this year. Life goes on. KG's knee isn't right. Without a healthy PGA, we most likely won't win this year. Ainge says it is not a setback. Doc says it is. All that doesn't matter, it's their opionion. We don't need Doc or Danny to tell us what's up.
The facts speak for themselves. After 4 weeks off, the knee hasn't gotten any better, there is still swelling there, enough to effective KG's game and health. It may not be a setback but it's not a set forward if you will.

Let's refrain from burying the Celtics before they are officially dead. Lots of negativity on this forum.
