Way to put words in my mouth. I compared his impact to Zaza's yet I said you guys should be terrified of him? Riggghttt. all I said was he has the ability to change games with his rebounding and toughness (mainly his offensive rebounds). Hes done it time an time again in the past month and a half. We will be getting beat on the boards badly and he will come in and take over.
And to the guy above me, how does immaturity equate to poor work ethic? It's not just the reports I've read, you can tell by watching him play. He has improved at every facet of the game month by month in his rookie year. He is an entirely different player now then he was at the beginning of the season. Go take a look at his splits, from month to month his TOs dropped, his FG% increases, and his personal fouls dropped (among others).
Maturity often does play a factor in work ethic. Whether Beasley has this problem is another story. But you can't say the two are totally unrelated.
I like Beasley. He has a lot of ability and he's going to be a very good scorer at the least. The rest is up to him.
