"Corey Brewer was drafted by the Timberwolves and bears a slight resemblance to Scottie Pippen so I think he's going to be a poor man's Scottie Pippen and anybody who thinks he is a bust is over the top" is in no way, shape or form an argument. It never will be.
You cheapen the abortion issue by trying to compare the two.

I may be cheapening it (how dare I try to make a point about basketball discussion on a basketball discussion message board), but I find it hard to believe you can't see the hypocritical corner your painted yourself into with your original comment.

Re: OT: John Wall charged in break-in
I did no such thing. There is speculative debate about a basketball player, one that I know if given 100 outcomes, I'll win way more than 50. In which I acknowledge at all times the outside chance I could be wrong.
Then there is a legitimately difficult issue, one that doesn't have an answer. That has support on both sides.
How a person can't see the other side of that one is usually determined by political bias. And these people are sheep...

Non-invasive surgery to remove the fetus at any point in the pregnancy, insert the fetus into an artificial uterus, the child is put up for adoption, voila. It's not terribly far fetched; it's 50 years away at most.
I think that seems scientifically possible, but the monetary cost would be huge. I wish people WOULD do that, but in a money-driven world...I guess I shouldn't say it won't happen. I think it could, but it just won't be very common due to the cost.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

Speaking of money, I think if pro-lifers really were just concerned about the life of the child, they'd get together, pool their money, and offer women $100,000, $200,000 to bring the child to term and give it up for adoption. It may be dirty and acrid but it would accomplish their goal to at least some extent.
Medical innovations are always outrageously expensive at first. Time will bring down the cost. I just saw an amazing lecture on artificial tissue/organ growth, it really put into perspective for me that artificially grown organs aren't much more than a decade away.
There are basketball applications too. Artificially grown cartilage already exists for things like noses and ears, but it's not quite ready for load bearing applications like knees - but it will be soon. Huge implication for things like microfracture.

The entire internet?
And people who base their views on the killing of unborn babies on what political ideology they decided to follow are still douchebag sheep.

Maybe I exaggerated a little. On second thought you're second to that Maddox guy, the best page in the universe or whatever.

It means your self proclaimed greatness -- your I'm better than everybody else mantra -- is unjustified by any basis in reality.

My last two threads have been hijacked by both abortion and Da Vinci debates.
DaVinci debate? that sounds interesting. I have to go find that one.
