Post#1 » by quazi31 » Sat Jun 20, 2009 12:13 am

Hey Miami Heat fan here and im wondering what can the heat get from you guys for Micheal Beasley?? Keep in mind Miami needs a 2nd scorer and a low post scorer and try to get 2010 involved but doesnt have to be.

12 + Wallace or Diaw + 2nd rounders is the best I can come up with without really putting too much thought into it.

Okafor is neither a 2nd scorer or low post scorer, that's why I didn't mention him. I'll edit or reply with a Wallace deal.

edit: Actually, won't you guys have cap space this offseason? Beasley for Wallace straight up would work for me, but to include the picks I guess Wallace + 12, 40 and 54 for Beasley and Jones or Haslem.

we did but trading it for o'neal and beasley has more value than wallace and 12 i would think

I would say something like

Wallace, #12 for Jones, Beasley

Basically we take Jones' bad contract off your hands and give you a good player at 12 where you could try to draft that low post scorer.

Sure... to be honest though, I don't see why you'd move Beasley at all if you're hoping to get a 2nd scorer and/or low post threat... isn't he supposed to be both of those things?

Maybe include Augustine somehow?

Wallace, Augustine, 12

for

Beasley, Jones, Chalmers

Just a thought.

Why do you guys want Beasley?

Beasley is not a Small Forward, and we already have Diaw. This means, I would rather trade Diaw for Beasley, instead of Wallace.

But honestly, i'm not that high on trading our core. We should keep this group together and just add more depth.

How about Radman+12+Augustin for Chalmers+Cook+Jones ?

me too.

Wallace is the only guy on our team who can drive to the rim at will, and i'm not willing to give him up for an unproven jump shooting tweener.

I don't specifically WANT Beasley. Isn't the thread title "What can Micheal Beasley get?"

Then the answer should be:

"Several ounces of the finest green weed ever to touch your lips in the blink of a phone call."

Beasley can score.... we need scoring.... Diaw can play SF and be an advantage at the position.... we'd be a bigger team.... we'd score more points.... we'd win more games.... Beasley for Wallace and #12 (with fill ins for salary involved) works for me
