Tom, realistically, they obviously would not want back the "Royal Eye" for anything else. The bottom line is, nobody else wanted Ivey, so the "Flee Market 76ers" went shopping for their usual crumbs. Comcast does not deserve this franchise. Can Wilt, Greer, Cunningham, Dr J, Moses, Bobby Jones, Chet Walker, Toney and Cheeks, come out and play, lol. Wing Bowl carries more interest than the 76ers and that is sad. Help!

This is an extremely shortsighted and risky attitude for the team to take. Sessions at the full MLE would be very good value and ant tax concerns could easily be offset by moving Lou or he sometime before next year if needed. He is a much better starting PG this tear and going forward if Holiday does not develop (I liked the pick, but there are no guarantees with him) at all or at least on their schedule for him.

If Holiday does develop, Sessions could move into the combo/third guard role that Lou has had and put up better numbers than Lou, he is simply a better player who can be had for about the same price.

Having Sessions in hand would also make it easier to go after a S&T for a big name FA next year by freeing he or Lou to be packaged with Speights and some expirings. Again, there attitude is very shortsighted, if both Lou and Jrue fail at the point, a realistic possibility, they will be paying top dollar for one down the road. They should take advantage of a depressed market this year and scoop up some good young talent in the process.

Skates: I actually think Jrue will be ready by Mid-Season. I saw some things that you don't really see from Rookie PG'S. Going to UCLA hurt his stock by 10 picks. He should've been a Top-10 prospect.

-Kid sees the floor. From the HS Clips I've been able to gather, Kid can spot guys that don't even know themselves their open.

-Excellent passer. And I mean excellent. He's excellent at the kick out pass. And if he has that Jason Kidd-Rajon Rondo rebounding ability, that's gonna bound well for our fast breaks.

-Plays under control. Rarely will you see him frustrated or pressured. Kid finds the seams in the defense and knocks them down.

Kid needs the ball in his hands though. @ 2 Guard isn't quite so good. He'd end up being a Raja Bell-type. 9-11 PPG with good defense.

It was widely believed thad wouldnt get any minutes for many years

With Miller gone Holly will get some significant minutes (hopefully)

Sixers aren't on ABC at all in 2009-10 and just once on TNT (Dec. 31 at the Clippers). Was a little surprised to see they have four ESPN games -- home dates with the Magic (Nov. 26), Cavaliers (Dec. 10), Nuggets (Feb. 18) and Pistons (April 4).

Told Sixers have agreed in principle to a contract with 7-1 center Primoz Brezec. Brezec is practicing with the Slovenia National Team and is expected to come to Philly next week for a physical.

The rest of the league is taking us for dead. Which I find a slap in the face. Come on Iggy, propell this franchise to a winning season.

Also hear Sixers are in no rush to sign a swing player and may invite several to camp and let them compete for a job. Sounds like they're planning on carrying 13 or 14 players.

Ivey's deal is likely to be finalized next week, too.

Stefanski is in Las Vegas with Marreese Speights and Jrue Holiday, who are participating in Tim Grgurich’s annual camp.

Would anybody want Jrue and Sessions starting together in the backcourt in a few years. Maybe Lou could come off the bench at that point. Right now I don't think Lou could be traded for an exiring contract. Maybe Thad and Speights can have good years and be packaged for a high draft pick to get a very good big man.

Would anybody be okay with Sessions, Jrue, Iggy, maybe Smith, and a lottery drafted center.

That's kind of awesome. Here's hoping the kids learn some stuff. If this guy taught the Glove. Then Jrue betta pay attention.

It's the camp where Jason Smith got hurt a year ago. Pretty good reputation for helping young guys.

Assuming you get Sessions for a bargain I'd be fine with Sessions, Lou, Jrue and Iguodala sharing the guard minutes. I'm not sure if long term that's the answer, but give Jrue, Lou and Sessions would all be making 5M or less a year I'd think you could make trades if needed to optimize the roster.

As much as I'm a fan of Jrue, worrying about how a player fits with him is not a reason to skip on another good player that fits the team and is on the clearance rack.

I guess if the team has no interest then its not worth getting worked up over.
