Well Beno really has only one way to go and thats up. Will he ever be where he was last summer when he was a coveted (word used loosely) free agent? I think with the falling cap and free agent talent going for so little now, we will have to just bend over and take Beno's contract. I really think he will not be able to be moved.
Well, to be fair, Beno's production from last year and this year isn't too far off.

Obviously, his long range abilities decreased somehow and points per game is decreased as well. But other those significant areas, Beno is pretty much the same thing from last year but with a higher assist ratio; meaning taking care of the ball better/more assists per possession (as strange as it sounds. i.e. remember after the huge trade of Salmons/Miller? Beno's A/TO ratio has increased greatly and he was taking care of the ball much better). I would like to believe that Kenny Natt was one prime factor of Beno's lack of production. If I can recall, Beno usually talked about Natt's system as not ideal to his playing style. And Natt didn't trust Beno on the being the primary ball handler/point guard for his system. Hopefully, Westphal would change that. His system (I would assume more uptempo) would fit Beno's playing style pretty well.
The question is then Kingsfan10, if Beno doesn't bounce back like we hope, when do we decide to just bench him and move on (Tinsley, K9, etc)? How many wins will we sacrifice before we decide there is no bounce back. Again this is a worst case scenario question, because best case he bounces back and becomes a good 6th man and there is no question what to do with him then.
If and only if Beno does not bounce back, I can see him being in the dog house i.e. Kenny Thomas treatment. Well, not as bad as Kenny Thomas situation but I'm pretty sure he won't receive any more valuable/significant minutes anymore. But the point is moot because I believe he will bounce back.
