Yeah because no one has thought of that before.

Either way, I don't think Riley thinks negative of Boozer's comments, and probly actually likes them because it lowers Boozer's perceived value around the league.
UD does us no good. He is going back to Miami or Orlando after this year. He is not living here for more than a year. No thanks on JJ either. I would rather let Boozer expire than make you guys better this year and pick up your junk.

In the end, this is a good package. Just couple of more losses to NY and no problems in the locker room. Why not?

Miami can beat NY with what they have any day of the week.
Boozer is too sheep-like to undermine Sloan. It'll be fine if he stays. But there is no real reason to trade him for scraps.

The key to me is that you're making at worst a cap-neutral move (you may even save a little) and you're getting a future pick for a guy that the FO didn't expect to have around anyway.
But at this point I think I like any of the discussed Chicago deals better than this one. At least with Tyrus Thomas there's a fair chance that if he works out and fits in you can bring him back (RFA). I honestly don't see Haslem sticking around.

now that we acquired q rich, i wouldnt be opposed to including cook but it would pain me some, no lie
most i can see miami offer today for boozer is haslem, jones, cook, 1st, cash for boozer and miles
the cash can buyout jones next offseason
