We have the foundation in place, now its about fine tuning the engine and getting miles on the car. Can we go all the way and cross the finish line in 1st place with this type of car?
I don't believe in this.
I believe in strategy, head coaching and plan. Sticking with Brooks is a huge mistake, and "wait for the future" is another one. We were expecting our team play to improve from last year to this one, but we got worse. Durant is better, Westbrook is better, Harden is way better player to be a third option than Jeff Green. Right, our record is better. But our offense became even more simplistic, giving usage to the wrong players, and our defense sucks.
But I feel like we have talent to dominate. Thunder wins, but Thunder can't dominate. Thunder might end up winning championships with Scott Brooks, but I see the Thunder as a fragile team. We have talent but we don't really have a solid base. We have imo one of the best rosters in the league a great variety of role players, and it's shocking the amount of strategic flaws we have.
Bulls might never get past of Miami Heat in the east, but they overachieve because they have a good coach. Thunder is good but could be much better. Fire Brooks.
