Who do you think from the Packers will/should make the pro bowl?
Offense: Favre, Jennings, Maybe Tauscher Lee (lee if he continues to get better and if the giants go in there downward spiral, which I expect, only ones I think might be more talented in NFC are Cooley, shockey, and witten )
Defense: Kampmann, Cwood, Al Harris, Barnett, Maybe corey williams and KGB

I was thinking about this subject over the weekend.
If the Packers end up winning 14 games, they should get at least six guys on the team and that's the low end. San Diego's team last season got 11 on the roster.
My pro-bowlers:
QB: Brett Favre
TE: Donald Lee
OT: Mark Tauscher
DE: Aaron Kampman
DT: Nick Barnett
CB: Al Harris
CB: Charles Woodson
I think there are a couple guys on the verge as well. Greg Jennings likely won't have an eye popping number of receptions, but if he simply keeps pace he'll end up with more than 1000 yards and 12 TDs and lead the league in YPC. That should get him in. Corey Willliams has a tough task to make it in the NFC over Darnell Dockett, Shaun Rodgers and Tommie Harris, but I'm not counting him out. KGB is only half a sack from leading the NFC in sacks. I don't know if they would elect a 3rd down, pass rushing specialist, but if he has 13 sacks at the end of the year he should make it as well.

I don't know about Al harris and Woodson. They might get in, but the packers allow 213 yards passing a game, and are 9the in the NFC in allowed passing yards. Also they have 9 INTs which is tied for fourth. So it will be interesting. I am thinking Harris will still proably get in though.
How many TE's are allowed in the Pro bowl? I would put Witten shockey, and cooley ahead of lee at this point.
Of course Favre would make it, Jennings too. Kampman no brainer. Nick Barnett will get in. So thats three for me. Maybe more.

livestrong4ever, you're probably right about Lee. His numbers are good but yea, I'd put him behind those three. If he can get a few more TDs he might have a shot.
Harris and Woodson will both get in. Harris has been snubbed each of the last two seasons but the hype around the team this year will carry him. Woodson has actually gotten press as a possible defensive player of the year. He's been on a lot of mid-season All-Pro teams, including Pasquarelli's. He's also made a lot of key, game changing plays on national TV.

FIgure out how many of those yards come from receivers, then you might have something...but I'd be willing to bet that over half of those yards come from Tight Ends and Running Backs, who obviously aren't covered by Woodson and Harris.

Yeah Woodson might get in, i see he has 3 INts.
I am looking at who has the most interceptions, and i see Anthony Henry with 5. But only has 15 tackles so i don't know. Marcus Trufant looks like a good option though too. If Harris can shut down, Owens. If he is on him in the dallas game he might just have a shot.

I was thinking about this the other day as well. I figured Favre, Kampman, and Woodson to be virtual locks. The media is having a field day with Woodson, talking about him reviving his career and such. They seem to talk about it every game. Likewise with Favre. Everyone loves him and if he plays well (as he has) he's going to go. Kampman is repeating last year's effort. Barnett, Jennings, Harris, Tauscher are definite possibilities. I wouldn't count out KGB either, despite the fact he's only a rush end. I don't think Lee will make it, likewise with Williams, but props to both of them for playing at the level that gets them considered.

Better check your numbers again, specifically completion % allowed and yards per reception allowed. Of course our total passing yards allowed will be somewhat high, we've had the lead like 85%+ of the season.

Favre, Tauscher, Kampman, Barnett and Woodson should be locks. I think Harris is having a better season than Woodson, but like someone said earlier, he just seems to get overlooked back there.
I really like Jennings chances too, but he needs a few really big games to make up for those couple he missed at the beginning of the season.

Yep
I've thought that about Harris also. Woodson gets more picks so he gets more hype, but if i wanted either guy to match up with the best WR on another team, i'd take Harris over Woodson without a second thought.

I think Woodson is an outstanding corner, but Harris is the better cover man and it's not really that close. But Woodson's got the hype and former accolades and that's a huge edge. If he can make a few big plays and fill up the stat sheet with INTs he'll go to the Pro Bowl.
I think we could end up saying the same about Hawk vs Barnett in the coming seasons. Few have played MLB better than Nick this year and he should go. But I think if Hawk would simply have a couple of those stat filling plays like sacks and/or INTs he'd be going to Hawaii. If the Packers have a top ranked defense, the media will look for reasons to send Packers to the Pro Bowl and with Hawk's name recognition he'd be going despite not having the eye opening season of a guy like Willis or Fletcher.
