Harry10 wrote:^ your post is just funny. your points in the paint argument is just ridiculous. going by that stat, so you are also claiming that Utah's post D is better than San Antonio, Toronto's is better then the Laker's post D
funny how incomplete information can fool some. fact of the matter is that, alot of the teams on the top of the list only average 155 shots per game, while the Hawks take and allow about 165 shots per game. i can't believe i have to be explaining this. this is why efficiency stats are generally better to go by.
You prove yet again that you don't understand English. I said pts in the paint defense was
AN indicator of interior D. I didn't say it was the only one or a concrete one. However it should be noted that Boston, Orlando and Cleveland occupy 3 of the top 4 spots in opponents pts in the paint per game.
The Hawks are 23rd. If the Hawks post D was superb there is no way they would rank 23rd in pts in the paint D. What makes it even worse is that the Hawks are 23rd in the league in pace of play which actually helps them in any defensive ppg stat.
http://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/op ... t-per-gameIf you want to go by efficiency the Hawks are 14th. JJ and Marvin aren't horrible defenders and bibby and Crawford can only screw up the Hawks d so much.
You have yet to show any evidence that any aspect of the Hawks D is superior. I guess you are using your usual "because I say so" logic, which isn't logic but a delusion.
