Any team other than an undefeated Hawaii (I've already penciled in their W for tonight, pretty easy prediction IMO) will be a travesty. And since I am sure that they won't get the invite, this year's national championship game is nothing sham.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

i think they should keep the bowl games, but this system should change right away.

I would love for it to be like college basketball's tornament style.

this has to be the craziest college football season

But seriously, I don't understand how Hawaii can go undefeated and have the 2nd best QB in college football and not be considered for the National Championship. Sure, they play in a weak conference but so does Ohio State. I think Hawaii would even beat Ohio State in a national championship game.

Will they finally give us playoffs? probably not
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

If you're going to put in Ohio State, might as well put on a skirt and give the other spot to Hawaii and avoid the controversy over three two loss teams going in.

I am serious about this guys. If you put Ohio State in the championship game how can you not put undefeated Hawaii? Both played crap schedules.

Thats how I feel too. I don't think its fair to Hawaii if Ohio State gets in the NC and they don't.

Hawaii doesn't even deserve to be in the conversation until they play more than one good team a year. They should just be grateful that they'll be ranked in the top 10. Look at the records of the teams they have beaten, assuming the beat Washington:

Boise State: 10-2
Fresno State: 8-4
Nevada: 6-6
Charleston Southern: 5-6
Louisiana Tech: 5-7
San Jose State: 5-7
Washington: 4-9
New Mexico State: 4-9
UNLV: 2-10
Utah State: 2-10
Nortern Colorado: 1-11
Idaho: 1-11

Combined Record: 53-92 (53-80 not including the Hawaii games, still brutal)

For a comparison, Ohio State's opponents were 72-60, 64-57 not counting Illinois. Ohio State beat four teams that I'd say were better than anyone Hawaii played.

Ohio State does not deserve to be in the National Championship game at all. They played an incredibly easy schedule and they played in one of the weakest conferences in college football. If Ohio State gets to play in the National Championship game why can't Hawaii be in it? They went undefeated and they have the 2nd best QB in college football. Illinois exposed Ohio State. But, who cares. If Ohio State goes to the championship game it only increases our strength of schedule because we beat you guys.

wrong. I ll be the first one to put at least 3 teams ahead of OSU in terms of "better" team but, they certainly deserve to be in the National Championship game. They deserve it in a way there wasnt any other team that showed they deserved it more than OSU performance wise. I m sorry but i dont care which conference you play in, you cant expect cry about not being included in the National championship game when you lose 2 games to an far inferior teams. As for Illinois might have "exposed" ohio state(which was a close one td game), but evey other team in the country with the exception of Hawaii has been exposed and they been exposed more than once, and most of them been exposed to the teams that are worse than #15 Illinois. As for Hawaii comparision, its not even close. Big 10 is weak in BCS standards but at the end its still the 4th/5th best conference in the nation and comparison to WAC is ridiculous. just check the teams win-loss record in the both conferences if anything.

Also, nothing in your post explained why you claimed OSU s defense is "crap". If you think a defense that is at worst top 5 in the country is a "crap" because they played one bad game i like to hear which team doesnt have a crappy defense.

I have to agree, I sincerely believe Hawaii is more deserving than us IMO, schedule or not.

Last time I checked, 72-70 was a lot better than 53-92. Like I said, Ohio State beat four teams better than any team Hawaii played. A few of them would probably even beat Hawaii.

I bolded their non-conference games:

Youngstown State: 7-4 (Division 1-AA)
Akron: 4-8 (2nd to last in MAC East)
Washington: 4-8
Northwestern: 6-6
Minnesota: 1-11
Purdue: 7-5
Kent State: 3-9 (Last in MAC East)
Michigan State: 7-5
Penn State: 8-4
Wisconsin: 9-3
Illinois: 9-3 (LOSS)
Michigan: 8-4

So that is a 18-29 non-conference schedule. I don't think a non-conference schedule gets any softer than that. Throw out Youngstown's 7-4 record and you get a 11-25 non-conference schedule.

Their soft non-conference schedule has almost the same winning percentage as Hawaii's entire schedule. (.382 vs .398)

Hawaii is losing 14-0 right now anyways, so it may not matter.

If Hawaii loses, then it is going to be LSU/Ohio State hands down. Washington may make it easy for us.
