Bynum shouldn't be traded for anything less than a STUD facilitator:
Think OJ Mayo, Brandon Roy or even James Harden.
MY POINT: Hinrich and Noah ain't enough. Noah is cool. But Hinrich ain't STUD enough.
The deal I see a small opening for is Steph Curry.
If the Warriors are in a position to get John Wall (a possibility) I think they really CONSIDER playing both Curry and Wall with Ellis but realize they've got to get bigger.
If they were indeed to secure John Wall the likelihood of a market for trading Monta Ellis would be nill.
That leaves Steph Curry as the "unexpected" potential odd man out, a guy they would never think of trading NOW, but with the much hyped John Wall coming in and everyone "wheeling and dealing", stranger things have happened:
Stephen Curry, Biedrins, Maggette, and Turiaf
for
Pau Gasol, Walton, and Vujacic
I can see this happening ONLY if the Warriors get John Wall. Other mitigating factors include Biedrins continuing to have an "off" year, and/or Maggette and Ellis both proving to be untradeable this summer for any thing of value.
still dreamin' ... :
PG - Hughes - Curry (Hughes starts to set defensive tone, Curry finishes)
SG - Bryant - M. Collins (Versatile defender, passer, bad jader)
C - Bynum - Biedrins (Good rebounder, shot blocker, NO offensive moves)
PF - Odom - Turiaf (a good guy to have around, especially to push Biedrins)
SF - Artest - Maggette ("Cedric Ceballos" off the bench for 25 mins per)
The third five:
PG - Fisher ("Lindsey Hunter-role", mentoring Curry, Collins, Critt, and Graham)
SG - Crittenton (battles M. Collins and Hughes for "auxiliary" defensive guard spot)
C - Mbenga (still a great third center)
PF - Powell (battles with Turiaf, the guy he replaced, for backup 4)
SF - S. Graham (pushes Critt, M. Collins, and Hughes)
DEEP, DEep, deep.
