No it's not, and Tyrus has never played 8 minutes of a game at the 3; not once. You should really let go of this idea that the Bulls forced him to play the 3; they didn't. They had him play the 4, his best position.
Your facts are wrong and these points you're trying to make are irrelevent to the subject or just plain weak.
If those are indirect shots at Tyrus, then they're also indirect shots at Eddy Curry, Jamal Crawford, Eddie Robinson, Ben Wallace, Larry Hughes, Tyson Chandler, etc. John Paxson's reign as GM has been personified by lunch bucket type guys like Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich, Andres Nocioni, etc which is why they keep saying it. It was especially true when Skiles was here as he would blatantly give time to lesser players (like Chris Duhon) seemingly only because they didn't make as many mistakes.
If Tyrus is widely reported in the press to have been suspended for conduct detrimental to thet team, then they learn he cursed out the coach, then the media that you yourself admit dislikes Tyrus starts emphasising certain players are such great "team players", and so "professional", and "they know there role and accept it", all of the things Tyrus supposedly lacks (per the media), why would I assume they are referring to a player who hasn't been a Bull in 3 years like Ben Wallce or Eddie Robinson? C'mon now, that's stupid.
Sam Smith has been known to have grudges as well; he's got a major grudge against Tyrus and has never liked him.
Yeah, this Sam Smith writes on behalf of the Chicago Bulls for the team website, and it's widely known he hates Tyrus, and again, he writes on the Bulls team website, doesn't that tell you something? Do you think the Organisation would want him writing negative press about a player they actually care for?
You're talking to one of the biggest Tyrus supporters on the Bulls' RealGM board by the way, and Cliff Levingston agrees that Tyrus got a bit of a raw deal at times, hence the reasoning behind saying he's got a chance to blossom a bit in Charlotte if he gets along with the coach a bit better and gets the PT. You're just WAY off the mark with how the Bulls' management handled him.
Management probably did want Tyrus to start over Taj, or get more than 15 minutes a game when Noah was out, Taj was hurt struggling and still getting big minutes, and Miller being old and struggling. Maybe manamgent getting two power forwards over the summer was only to bulk up the PF position even though we had no SG on the roster since BG left. Limiting Tyrus to a 15 foot jump shooting 15 minutes a night rotation playing, PF/SF position switching, back up to a injured average rookie is really in Tyrus best interest. Your point is clear now, and yeah, I'm being respectfully sarcastic.
