Well Heinrich has been linked to move for cap space, there hasn't been any indication of such for Lou and his contract is reasonable so there really isn't much chance Philly moves him.

Lou's conversation on this board were when there was talk about Philly trying to get a true PG to go with Holiday to run Jordan's system, and using Lou to move a contract like Kapono or Green. Since he was someone bandied about - again His stats are included. Feel free to change the channel if you do not like what you are seeing.

Being fiscally conservative, I'd take Javavaris Crittenton under a baptism by fire for the young guy's minimum over (probably) overpaying for Foye, Felton, or Blake.

Javaris, for pennies, is better than all those guys. We really have selective memories don't we?

I'd sign Critt as 5th guard (for the minimum) and see if he can get his act together. He is only 22.

Iguodala is the dude you grab. He's perfect. His shot will only get better, Phil Jackson would actually have the closest things in the league to Pippen and Jordan plus a really good center in Bynum with Artest and Odom and Elton Brand. What!

Philadelphia would do it to save some money but also to rid themselves of Brand's lengthy deal and replace it with a, still overpriced, but more productive deal in Gasol's.

LA does it to finally give Kobe a break from all the ball handling. After a year under his belt, Iguodala will allow Kobe to completely change his game by picking his spots and posting up more. LA is missing another versatile athlete and a distributor. Iguodala can provide that.

edit- just to entertain the idea, an Iggy/Dalembert for Bynum, choice of Vujacic/Walton, and S/T JFar (since they need a true b/u PG), is about the only palatable option IF Iggy could play tri PG and at least gives LA a true defensive/rebounding C against bigs. Still that puts LA way into the 90's for pay which is a killer anyway. Maybe I'll toss it on the trade board just to get bashed for a while.

Pretty sure the Lakers won't be offering up any of the core (Kobe, Gasol, Bynum) unless there is a colossal failure come playoff time. Of those three, I think Bynum is the most likely to be traded. Pau has proven himself to be a lot more consistent in this offense, and he's actually been a better defender and rebounder than Bynum.
