Raiders @ Packers Pregame Talk
Well Brett Should Start so that is a plus.
The Raiders in the last 2 weeks have won inside there division for the first time in I believe 3 years IIRC. They beat the Chiefs and the Broncos so I think they will come into the game pumped up.
As for the pack it is going to be really interesting to see how they respond to that loss. I hope they go out there and stick to the game plan.
Glad we got 10 days rest we need as much as we can get, not sure who will all be out yet and who will play.
I am very interested to see how the Passing game holds up in the weather should be cold not sure about any snow or rain tho.

Neither do I. We need to win this though to keep the heat off from the other division leaders who are charging fast. I would not like to get to a point where either the Seahawks or Bucs are within a game of us with our last 3 games being 2 division rivals battling for playoff spots and an improving Rams squad. I know that it's worrisome thinking but I want to lock this bye up ASAP.

The Raiders have actually been playing well lately. Their offensive line is opening up big holes for Fargas who ran well. McCown managed the games well in which they won. Should be interesting to see who starts between McCown and Culpepper.
If you go the Raiders forums, they still believe the Packers still have no running game at all and that the Raider's CB's can stop the Packer's WR's.
I got dibs on the Game Thread (still undefeated)

They must be under the impression that the League of Justice is starting in the defensive backfield for them. If Bly/Bailey couldn't shut our guys down I don't care how young and promising their guys are, Jennings and Driver are going to juke them out like fools and Jones will be flying over the top.
And it's funny they joke about our running game because Ryan Grant is the equivalent of Justin Fargas coming out of nowhere in recent weeks to be a top 10 back in the NFL.

I'm not saying we're going to annihilate them, but I doubt this will be a nail-biter either.
Yeah, I know, we're under pressure, Favre's not 100%, we're still kind of banged-up, Oakland's played well of late, blah blah blah....
But consider this. They're in last place in a weak division. Regardless of who starts for them at quarterback, they're not going to have much success there. Russell is raw, and McCown's performance yesterday was only a fluke. Although they tough secondary, they have no run defense whatsoever.
This should be a relaxing game. Let's just keep winning our games (which we will), and let's hope the Cowboys lose some (oh, and thanks Brett for the turnovers and thanks refs for the interference call).

Every team in that division has given us trouble this year. I wouldn't be surprised in Oakland did too. I see us overmatching them but if we don't put them away by the fourth quarter and find ourselves in a situation where a late turnover could decide the game, it could be one of those sickening losses, not unlike Chicago. I hope I'm wrong.

I think its a HUGE game for GB and one they need to win walking away......this is there first loss after many have viewed them as elite, so it will be interesting to see how the team bounces back. It will also be a huge game for Favre, this was his first aweful game since very early in the season, I am hopeful he will bounce back and stick to the gameplan, take the short game, allow your many playmakers to make plays and pick your spots to go deep.

I don't have a bad feeling about this one I have bad feeling about next when we play the Rams in St Louis, hopefully we are both wrong.
Vs the Raiders I definatly think the Packers will win but I don't think it will be a huge blowout but a comfortable win something like,
Packers 27
Raiders 17
