Truth is, I think Rambis will make us win plenty of games in the future. Not because of his coaching skills, but because of the lottery.

Player development. Look at Brewer. Look at the improvement of Hollins this year. Look at Ellington from the beginning to now. Look at Love improving his range, Brewer has become a very good 3-point shooter, one year after being a terrible one.

Just because we aren't a playoff team, doesn't mean our coaching staff is a failure.

Understatement of this very early year

What's the point in putting consistent pounding like 36 mpg on Love's knees in a season where there's no hope at a postseason? There's a reason that KG became a shell of his former self at 32.

Love's part of a crowded big man rotation for a bad team. The Wolves are trying to find out what Darko has in the tank and still keep Hollins, Love and Al happy (while throwing some smallball Gomes in as well). It doesn't always work. Some of the excuses Rambis gives as to not playing him are BS, but there have been legit issues at times as well.

If he's still getting 12 minutes in a game next year, after the dust has settled, then there's probably an issue.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

I like your optimism and hope it comes to be, but I don't really believe it. :(

I believe I read that this is will be the second worst season in our history. With all this development I would have expected us to win more games but that hasn't been the case. McHale had to work with a rookie in Kevin Love and Al Jefferson who was out for 32 games, Brewer who missed 67, Miller who missed 9, and Foye who was out for 8. Futhermore, McHale had Telfair instead of Sessions (who hasn't lived up to expectations). Take it a step further and you see Wittman didn't even have some of the toys Rambis is lucky enough to play with. I'm not saying McHale is better, but I will say we 14 games with a coach who insists playing Pavlovic.

I wouldn't call it optimism, it's closer to realism

This record is about what people expected before the season, and that was before we knew Love would be out to start the year. We have a rookie coach with a roster that doesn't line up well with the way he likes the game played, and we're about as bad as people expected us to be. It isn't time to light the torches and run Rambis out of town just yet.

22 Corey Brewer F 6-9 185 March 5, 1986 R University of Florida
7 Greg Buckner G 6-4 210 September 16, 1976 8 Clemson University
51 Michael Doleac C 6-11 262 June 15, 1977 9 University of Utah
4 Randy Foye G 6-4 210 September 24, 1983 1 Villanova University
8 Ryan Gomes F 6-7 250 September 1, 1982 2 Providence College
15 Gerald Green F 6-8 200 January 26, 1986 2
55 Marko Jaric G 6-7 198 October 12, 1978 5
25 Al Jefferson F 6-10 265 January 4, 1985 3
35 Mark Madsen F 6-9 240 January 28, 1976 7 Stanford University
1 Rashad McCants G 6-4 207 September 25, 1984 2 University of North Carolina
42 Theo Ratliff C-F 6-10 225 April 17, 1973 12 University of Wyoming
32 Chris Richard F 6-9 270 December 25, 1984 R University of Florida
5 Craig Smith F 6-7 250 November 10, 1983 1 Boston College
30 Kirk Snyder G 6-6 225 June 5, 1983 3 University of Nevada, Reno
3 Sebastian Telfair G 6-0 165 June 9, 1985 3
24 Antoine Walker F 6-8 224 August 12, 1976 11 University of Kentucky

Wittman went on to win 22 games with pretty much Foye, Gomes, and Jefferson. Wittman wasn't coach of the year, but neither is Rambis (I actually really hate that award). I'm not chanting fire Rambis, I just think he's a bit overrated here. Luckily not as much as Phil Jackson. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to change my identity and move to a secret location before LA fans find out about this.

The sad thing is I had to google sgpg in an attempt to understand this. Results for anti SGPG antibodies and the sgpg acronym of Sticle Golite-n Pahare cu Gheata didn't clear things up. This is really just nature's way of telling me I need to go to sleep or quit my job. I'm not sure which.
