With all this development I would have expected us to win more games but that hasn't been the case. McHale had to work with a rookie in Kevin Love and Al Jefferson who was out for 32 games, Brewer who missed 67, Miller who missed 9, and Foye who was out for 8 and he had Telfair and no Sessions. Take it a step further and you see Wittman didn't even have some of the toys Rambis is lucky enough to play with. Not saying McHale is better. All I am saying is we 14 games with a coach who insists playing Pavlovic.
This record is about what people expected before the season, and that was before we knew Love would be out to start the year. We have a rookie coach with a roster that doesn't line up well with the way he likes the game played, and we're about as bad as people expected us to be. It isn't time to light the torches and run Rambis out of town just yet.

Wittman went on to win 22 games with pretty much Foye, Gomes, and Jefferson. Wittman wasn't coach of the year, but neither is Rambis (I actually really hate that award). I'm not chanting fire Rambis, I just think he's a bit overrated here. Luckily not as much as Phil Jackson. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to change my identity and move to a secret location before LA fans find out about this.
