Watched the whole second half of the Lakers/Blazers game yesterday. Roy was out with a knee injury, so Fernandez started:

He made a couple of really nice passes, but was mostly a supporting player as Andre Miller took the lead at the start of the 2nd half.
He could put some weight on still (Van Gundy had a funny line when he asked who would win a pushup contest between Fernandez and Vujacic) but I'm a fan. Maybe it's just McMillan's system, but he and Miller didn't play well at the same time, just as Fernandez seems to be limited by playing with Roy. I stand by my earlier statement that he needs the ball in his hands primarily to reach his potential.
