He looks bad on defense in part because he spends lots of time on the floor with Hedo Turkoglu and Andrea Bargnani.
If you could turn Diop into Calderon, you should immediately do it.
The Bobcats gained their rep as a defensive team because everyone on the team plays defense. Jose can't even guard his own shorts.
Jose is the kind of a guy that most wouldn't mind getting for cheap and in a 6th man role. No doubt his shooting would help out a team thats routinely dominated by zone d. Still, its easy for a guy to be a good PnR point guard when he's got guys like Bosh and Barg - and I think that they make him look better than he really is. Who would he run that with in Charlotte? Alexis Ajinca's untapped potential? Jose isn't really a better option for this team than Felton.
Also, why would Toronto want Henderson? They've already got two young SG prospects in Derozan and Weems.
