There's no problem with refuting what people are saying. But is it necessary to say stuff like "This Ish is soooo funny, keep going" after every post?

-no doubt bosh isnt near that class. I know that his defense suffers. He plays pylon defense in order to avoid fouls. you cant blame BC for not surrounding bosh with players that are better than him so that bosh can play some defense.
Now you take a look at our starting lineup to start the season of Jose/DD/Hedo/Bosh/Bargs where Bosh is the best defender of the lot and you think he's a "big part" of our defensive woes?
Why focus on our lineup that started the season? (rhetorical, you chose this because it is a terrible defensive lineup). This changes nothing, Bosh is a terrible defender, especially man defense, boshs help defense is mediocre at best. we gets chances all game to get blocks from weak side and barely averages 1bpg.
No, a big part of our defensive issue is caused by 3 starters who make close to $30 mil combined that barely play any defense
Bosh is a terrible defender man, say what you want, blame everyone else, blame bc, blame the supporting cast, deflecting blame doesnt change the fact that Bosh is a horrible defender.

Our team is a good offensive team BECAUSE OF BOSH. You think bums like Bargnani, Calderon and Hedo could do jack all if Bosh wasnt' the one drawing ALL the attention of the defense? The best offensive player Bosh has played next to in the last 5 years has been Mike James.
Keep bringing it, I'm having a ton of fun right now.
We are a good offensive team because of Bosh. Unfortunately WE ARE ALSO A HORRIBLE DEFENSIVE TEAM because of Bosh too (not just him ,but a big part of it).

Kobe would hop on his ass about defense and effort from the moment would come to L.A. I'm honestly not sure how Bynum would deal with being the number 1 option. He would easily give a team 20+ a night as a first option but he could very well do that as a 2nd option. It would be strange seeing Bynum take on the burden of having his own team at this time.
The Lakers are basically raising him right now so that he can take over the team when he is older. I like Bynum a lot but I still look at him as little kid because he doesn't have much responsibility on the team. Kobe alone takes it upon himself to be the most responsible. Other than Pau and Fisher it doesn't appear like anyone else has been given the responsibility capable of leading a team. I'm sure Bynum could do it but es enjoying himself too much right now in L.A. to even be thinking about having a team of his own.
I don't see this deal going down though especially if the Lakers win a championship. Unless there are some chemistry problems behind the scenes that the public doesn't know about I can't see a reason for the Lakers to trade Bynum. (Yes even with the injuries, He is still a good fit.)

why do you make so many excuses for Bosh, yet no excuses for BC, for the team? clearly you are more of a Bosh fan than a raptors fan. I am a fan of both, for better or worse. I can admit that my favorite team is flawed, as I can admit one of my favorite players (bosh) is flawed as well.

When you look at our roster (I can list all of them if you want) how can you say a Bosh fan isn't a Raptor fan?
He's basically the only player on this team that would start on every good team. Give me a player better than Bosh and I'll make the trade in a sec and I'm sure that player would become my favourite player on this team but we know that won't happen.
Bosh is flawed when compared to the great two-way players in the game (Kobe/LBJ/Wade/Duncan) but I don't dwell on that fact because I never thought Bosh was as good as them to begin with. However, what do you do when your star player has weaknesses? You build a team to mask those weaknesses right? Well, BC has done a piss poor job of that and the players he brought in only perpetuate those weaknesses. That's why I rag on BC and the supporting cast, because I love the Raps and wish they built a better team around Bosh so that the Raptors could be successful.

Bynum is probably the Lakers' most quiet player, and he never demands anything. The guy just goes out there and plays, all the while knowing that when he does something wrong, Phil Jackson will let him know it, and when he plays well, Phil Jackson will pretend it never happened. This goes to show how easily people who don't watch a player can judge him, based on really nothing. I don't know anything about his personal life, but on the court, he does not play with an ego.
Anyone who is questioning his game hasn't watched the guy play; he would do wonders for the interior defense on this team. Sure he hasn't put up great stats, but that's because he's playing with two guys with big egos in Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. Him and Lamar Odom kind of get lost because those two are always looking to get things done on offense. If you watched the guy play whenever Gasol was injured, you would know that he would easily be the East's best center or right there with Bogut, if he ever came here. The guy can flat out do everything except shoot jumpers, and even that he's starting add to his game.
For the Raptors, this is a good deal, but for the Lakers this makes no sense. They need outside shooting, or a PG who can defend and shoot, not another big man who needs space to operate on offense.
Reignman wrote:Undefeated wrote:LOL are people seriously questioning Bosh’s defensive ability playing with the Lakers?
If anything, Bosh will be a phenomenal defender playing for the Lakers. People are seriously underrating Bosh’s ability to help out on defense. If you look at the Bosh even right now playing with some defensively challenged players, he always at the place at the right time to contest shots. Now, just imagine Bosh on the Lakers with Kobe and Artest. Seriously.
