Nice video. :)

But, what's the point of this post? What context?
Reading comprehension, people ... :) I talked about Gallo's handle and in the SAME post I posted a video with him handling the ball during the whole video. Where did you see a connection to Flynn in there?

As I said, I haven't even mentioned Flynn in this thread ... All my posts were strictly about Gallinari.

Anyways, it's cool. :)

I wasn't responding to anything/anyone. Just wanted to share.

Thanks for that Flynn vid Dr K, you've given me renewed hope for Flynn. I know it's against poor competition, but he looks really really good in that vid. Much more decisive and aggressive going to the hole. I especially like the passes to the open 3-point shooters on his drives, he needs learn to do that more (hopefully we will have some shooters for him this year). Learning the triangle took alot of that aggressiveness out of his game, hopefully being more comfortable in the offense will help him get it back. I don't expect him to ever be a 10 assist guy, but 6 or 7 with better percentages next year would be a pretty good year for him.

I'm not at all impressed with Galinari's handle in that vid. It is loose and begging for a TO. At his size his future may be as a stretch 4, as some have suggested, which makes him less of a fit for our team.

The big question for both players is on the defensive end. Can galinari add the bulk to defend 4's, will his rebounding rate improve enough and will his back hold up to all the banging?

Flynn needs to greatly improve his pick n' roll defense. Hopefully better technique can help him overcome his size and wingspan deficiencies. The coaches need to help him use his quickness to his advantage by being more aggressive, he looked much too passive on the defensive end last year.

Its a tough one, I think Flynn and Gallo are about equal as prospects, but it will leabe us with sessions+backup next season which will hurt...

I would do it for the future, but next year will suck
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

good post younguns. I think that bolded part is the answer. He's naturally an attacking drive-and-dish type pg. It looks to me that learning the offensive scheme of Rambis had him thinking too much - hence the overdribbling. Once he is comfortable with the offense and has decent teammates, he'll be just fine.

Thanks K, I really needed to see that.

I don't have any problem with Knicks fans liking Gallo, but until he spends more minutes as this "pre-Dirk wonderkind" and less as "hobbled, maybe-somday back injury guy," then I'm not going to rank him this highly. Hope isn't a hard thing to have in your own team's player, but its a hard thing to try to sell to another team.

When i read "Short simple trade MN/NY" i thought you were talking about Curry + Gallinari to TWolves for cap space. In fact, i was thinking about saying short and simple if i started a thread for that trade idea.

Think about it. Knicks have $14.5 more to get 2 superstars. TWolves get Gallo!

I think i will pass, lol. But seriously, if i think cap space for Gallinari + Curry is at least interesting. In next off-season, Curry would be gone and Gallinari will only cost $4,2 M.
