Thanks for that Flynn vid Dr K, you've given me renewed hope for Flynn. I know it's against poor competition, but he looks really really good in that vid. Much more decisive and aggressive going to the hole. I especially like the passes to the open 3-point shooters on his drives, he needs learn to do that more (hopefully we will have some shooters for him this year). Learning the triangle took alot of that aggressiveness out of his game, hopefully being more comfortable in the offense will help him get it back. I don't expect him to ever be a 10 assist guy, but 6 or 7 with better percentages next year would be a pretty good year for him.
I'm not at all impressed with Galinari's handle in that vid. It is loose and begging for a TO. At his size his future may be as a stretch 4, as some have suggested, which makes him less of a fit for our team.
The big question for both players is on the defensive end. Can galinari add the bulk to defend 4's, will his rebounding rate improve enough and will his back hold up to all the banging?
Flynn needs to greatly improve his pick n' roll defense. Hopefully better technique can help him overcome his size and wingspan deficiencies. The coaches need to help him use his quickness to his advantage by being more aggressive, he looked much too passive on the defensive end last year.
