Wade is older than his years due to injury(the way he plays full-throttle)

However: with Wade he has the best chance of winning a championship.

You're right about that... I had rarely ventured into the Knick board aside from a few times in the past week and after a Bulls/Knicks game when they were talking about how overrated Rose is, but WOW. Even their mods are irrational meatballs (maybe not all of them - not sure, just the one or ones I noticed).

Are you guys to the point where, when you start to really think about how LeBron is a realistic possibility, you still really can't imagine it and can't believe it or even really put it together mentally?

Like, really?

LeBron might be in our starting lineup on opening night?

Hasn't really hit me that it's even possible, despite how excited I have gotten.

Wade & LeBron, he may go down as following Wade for a championship.
Chicago would be LeBron's team hands down with Rose as a sidekick, but we also have the great shadow. How much longer til we find out what happens? I can't wait

The whole ego thing is the key. This is a similar argument that we make against the whole "MJ's shadow" argument.

Man...I really hope these next weeks go quickly.

I am pretty pessimistic. It is my defense mechanism. So, I really haven't thought of a reality with LeBron. I think it is a product of the Cubs constantly losing mixed in with a little bit of Ron Mercer and Eddie Robinson and splashed with a lot of Shoop, Shea, and Turner...

nah man, miamiballer is one of my favorite non-Bulls posters, ever since the 2008 lotto. he comes here respectfully and does not try to "wipe out people's dreams/hopes." just for that, i kind of hope the heat and the bulls are both winners in FA this summer.

A LeBron/Wade duo would be intriguing: two of 3 players who could be argued as the best player in the world having a teammate who is far, far more talented than anyone they've ever played with. The Heat can make as good a pitch as anyone, but it'd have nothing to do with Beasley or Chalmers or Free Agent X and everything to do with Wade.
"Just gotta stand in front of him," Butler said, as if it were simple.

Man...I really hope these next weeks go quickly.

LeBrons ego is only rivaled to Kobe's and bragging rights mean everything to players. The shadow thing is not intimidating when you have an ego like Kobe and LeBrons..

If anything LeBron could view his chance of comming to the Bulls as putting this franchise as one of the historical franchises in the mold of the Lakers and Celtics of having decades of talented players.. 90's were ours, the '10's could be ours if we play our cards right.

Oh, I definitely agree the shadow thing is BS...but maybe that is cause I am a Bulls fan? If I were a Knicks fan, would I think differently? I hope I wouldn't be that narrow minded.

The same reason Knicks fans use that in their arguments, I think we use the "Wade's team" thing in ours.

Naturally, as a Bulls fan, I think the Wade thing is more of a factor than the shadow thing, but who knows if it is?

Man, that is a lot of rambling I did there...

lol if i had to guess today, id say lebron goes to chi-town for the reasons stated above

bosh goes to miami for beasley, cook future pick and miami fills the balance of the heat with guys like haywood, felton, howard, etc

that means that the top 4 teams next yr would be mia, chi, orl, bos

should be tight

Wiretap ....

The National Editor of Forbes predicts that LeBron James will join the Knicks, with one of the major financial drivers being James' ability to buy shares in the publicly-traded New York franchise.

The Knicks cannot compensate James with shares in the organization, Madison Square Garden, but James would be able to invest his personal wealth to acquire the public stocks. The theory is that these stocks would dramatically increase in value with James playing for the Knicks.

"Now I am telling you next season LeBron will be playing for the New York Knicks because this January they became the only franchise that can use their stock as currency," writes Ozanian.

"This would allow James to in essence work for himself and capture the upside in revenue from higher ratings on the MSG RSN, a soon-to-be renovated Madison Square Garden and much higher profits he will bring to these platforms," he explains.

In his position at Forbes, Ozanian specializes in corporate earnings, economics and sports team valuations.

Isn't this against the CBA ??? I thought both MJ & Magic had to sell their shares when they unretired and returned to the court.

Am I wrong on this ???

it's possible that lebron would honestly see wade as some asterisk on his career..but if he really feels threatened by wade being the number one..that's about as stupid to me as him not wanting chicago cuz of jordan's legacy. If he truly is about winning, he'll choose the situation that offers him the best chance of it, and he's lebron friggin james..he won't be shamelessly ring chasing like gary payton or shaq..he'll be the best player on any team he's on.

I don't think people think lebron and wade wouldn't work on the court..but if anyone does that's pretty ridiculous. Everyone talks about how unselfish lebron is and it's true..and i'm sure wade could handle a lesser scoring role if it meant winning more games (he didn't seem to relish doing everything for miami with no help whatsoever..and who can blame him?) Would his pride not be able to handle wade getting spotlight time? First of all that'd be unbelievably childish and stupid of lebron, second of all i don't think they'd piss on each others parade, they'd just put one bitchin party together. 2 people sharing the spotlight doesn't have to make you less popular than if you were alone. I know the celtics may not be the best example since they were old guys, but from a marketing, popularity standpoint..do you think garnett, allen, or pierce, hurt their individual popularity by ditching their crappy teams where they were the clear cut leader? I wouldn't say so.

Again i'm not saying there's no way lebron thinks playing with wade is a bad idea and anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot, just like i won't say that lebron doesn't think playing in MJ's shadow is a bad thing. Who knows what he thinks. All i'm saying is in my opinion...if he truly thinks either of those things, he's an idiot that's not looking for his greatest basketball interest whatsoever.

You would think. Doesn't sound very ethical to me.
