It's clear at this point that the Suns need a front court commited to rebounding. Murphy gives us a very nice way to spread the floor while still augmenting our poor rebounding. His 3pt shot plays very well into PHX's style.
This also shaves $2.5m off of our payroll for what I largely consider the same production level.
Richardson was a fantastic player for us. He was dynamic and created energy for our team. We wish him all the best.
