MIN - PHI - SAC
This is the deal I'd like to see:
SAC GIVES: #5 + Nocioni
SAC GETS: Jefferson + 23
PHI GIVES: 2 + Dalembert
PHI GETS: 4 + 16 + Nocioni + $7 mil in cap space
MIN GIVES: 4 + 16 + 23 + Jefferson
MIN GETS: 2 + 5 + Dalembert
SAC: This is the deal that has been considered to be roughly fair. There are people on both sides that question it, but it makes sense because of the individual value. At #5, if Cousins is gone, SAC is forced to add another SF in Wes Johnson, or to go with their personal favorite Monroe. Neither are good value for the Kings at #5, and are unlikely to be as good as Al. Jefferson is already a proven performer, and they get a chance to buy him low. They move an unhappy Nocioni that isn't worth his contract, and use the cap space to add another pick late in the 1st.
PHI: PHI gets its two picks, and gets under the lux. Whether you love cousins or hate him, he has tremendous upside. People question whether Turner and Iguodala can play together, and that would not be an issue for DMC or Favors if he drops (NJN may pick cousins if they think they will bring in one of the many elite PF FA's. The $7 mil cap space help is key here, and saves the Philly about $13-14 mil. Using Dalembert's over-priced deal creates minutes for Cousins.
MIN uses Al and all its picks to get the pair of players that best fit a future with Rubio. The #2 and #5 have more value to MIN than the other teams in the neighborhood because of their fit, and by paying all their assets, they come out of the draft with their team of the future. Perhaps they could swing a Love + Pekovic to NJN for #3 as well, if they want to go super-young.

Re: MIN - PHI - SAC
If SAC doesn't want Al and is set on trading down for Monroe, spinning this through DET works too.
SAC GIVES: 5 + Nocioni
SAC GETS: 7 + 23 + Dalembert
PHI GIVES: 2 + Dalembert
PHI GETS: 4 + 16 + Nocioni + $7 mil in cap space
MIN GIVES: 4 + 16 + 23 + Jefferson
MIN GETS: 2 + 5 + Prince
DET GIVES: 7 + Prince
DET GETS: Jefferson
DET and PHI get the same deal.
SAC trades down but still gets the same player, adds Dalembert who is a better fit and expiring, and adds a late 1st.
MIN doesn't mind getting Prince or Dalembert.

Re: MIN - PHI - SAC
Would absolutely do this deal from MN side. Consolidates assets into better assets (quantity into quality, not that the assets we are trading are bad, just making them better). It, likely, helps balance the roster. I think the value is great, I just don't know if this is what the other teams want. I am guessing the fans of Phi and Sac will complain due to the exact assets they are attaining, but valuewise, it looks pretty solid.

Awesome. I had a trade like this envisioned (2nd pick or Iggy) but Shrink put the touch on it. That's as fair as it's gonna get with equal value. Now do we go Turner + Johnson, Turner + Monroe, Favors + Johnson?

Outstanding trade for us! I think we would all jump in with both feet on this one.
As enticing as the 7 mil cap space and the draft picks, not sure if Phila. does it without them ridding themselves of Brand. I use to live in Philly and the PR hit (by not selecting #2) might be too much for management to bare. We’re talking assassination.

By no means do I speak for all Sixers fans, but I think they would love that deal depending on how our scheduled work-out of Cousins and Favors goes tomorrow. It would put us in the Carmelo sweepstakes in 2011 and in addition to the getting a guarantee of either Favors or Cousins, we could use the 16 to move up for Xavier Henry.
That said, I do wonder if too much has been put out there about us and Turner for this to be swallowed as anything other than a money move.

Think that's enough for Philadelphia if they truly are as in love with Turner as their fans are? From my standpoint, they're getting a hell of a deal - but I'm not rabid over Turner and actually like Favors slightly more and Cousins only slightly less.
From the Timberwolves standpoint I do it, but then they aren't taking advantage of the best frontcourt draft in a while. However, if I were running the draft, I'd pick Favors at #2 so then that point would be moot
Imagine Twolves taking Favors at #2, so then the Nets are left thinking WTF because they wanted Favors more as well, and then make a deal with Minnesota #3 for #5 and Pekovic (maybe some other things thrown in so NJ comes out cap neutral even if they sign Pek) so they can nab Johnson... then the Timberwolves leave the draft with Favors and Turner.

The biggest problem with any trade where the Kings trade down to 7 is that you don't know what the Warriors do at 6. The base assumption is that Sac trades down because they can't get Cousins at 5 and thus their target would be Monroe who they'd then target at 7 (which is what I assume you meant by "still gets the same player"). Problem is the Warriors could very well target Monroe at 6 (he could arguably be BPA and he'd definitely be the best fit of all the available players).

*Edit.
I like your second deal, I had mixed them up at first. I think it addresses a need to the Kings and it gets out of Nocioni's contract.
Still seems almost too good for us. Philly fans will also say no.

I understand the hype around Turner, but I think this is a deal that management could sell to Sixer fans.
"We love Evan Turner, but we thought this was a deal we couldn't refuse. We see this as a four-player draft, and DeMarcus Cousins arguably has the potential to be the best guy of the four. Next, we get a second 1st rounder, just outside the lottery. This draft is particularly deep because of the impending lock-out, so we expect to add another starter locked into a four-year rookie deal. And on top of all this, we get to add the veteran experience of All Star-caliber Tayshaun Prince - a player Doug Collins loves. We still believe Evan Turner will be a good player, but this return was just to good to refuse.

Re: MIN - PHI - SAC
76ers are not taking nocioni.
Send Prince to Philly and Nocioni to Minnesota and you get closer to a deal.
I still don't think Detroit considers 7+prince for Jefferson when they can probably get cousins+nocioni for the same package on draft day.

The idea was that "Dalembert for Nocioni + $7 mil in cap space" would provide the tax relief up front, and when they need it, saving them $13-14 mil, and paying for Nocioni's second year for free and still clear cash. Dally for Prince is an upgrade, but doesn't save them enough moolah.
I had a lot of stuff going through my mind at the time, but MIN can amp up the deal a little more along your lines, by sending Prince, and taking on Nocioni and Kapono's expiring. This would make the deal:
SAC GIVES: 5 + Nocioni
SAC GETS: 7 + 23 + Dalembert
PHI GIVES: 2 + Dalembert + Kapono
PHI GETS: 4 + 16 + Prince + $7 mil in cap space ($13-14 mil in savings)
MIN GIVES: 4 + 16 + 23 + Jefferson
MIN GETS: 2 + 5 + Nocioni + Kapono
DET GIVES: 7 + Prince
DET GETS: Jefferson
MIN adds Nocioni's 2010-11 salary, and PHI still gets their cap space and a better player.
