I agree with you. No point in looking back on it. But...I openly admit...if Cousins explodes and Favors flops...on this pick...absolutely you have to hold management accountable.
Ripping them for the Zoran Planinic's of the world or whatever happens to the 24 Vs. 27 tonight? Nah.
You get a chance to take the best big man in the draft...you BETTER get it right or you will have it on your head.
I happen to agree though. As a FAN...I support the move...even if the more I saw of Cousins the more the dreaded potential word kept coming out of my mouth. I accept as a fan not betting on Cousins upside to avoid the downside of his growing backside.
After the discussions about #3 and Harris for Granger and 10, I think Favors might not be a Net by the beginning of the season. I just hope we don't try to dangle him for a third-rate "star" in the mold of Granger.
I'd rather let Favors develop and go from there.
