Why is everyone going on and on about Childress? This is the same guy that walked away from ATL because he didn't want to play for the same amount of money as the now proposed MLE. Having gone overseas and returning a more seasoned player, and now in a bulging market, signing for that amount of money makes terrible business sense. Why would he do this?
Ronnie Brewer might make sense but IMO he's simply a more experienced Sonny Weems (who has more scoring potential as we've seen in absence of Bosh).
Travis Outlaw should jump at anything the raptors throw his way unless a championship caliber team makes him an offer or he has a guaranteed starting role.
Morrow, JJ?? Come on...that's regression. JJ doesn't offer anything over Bellineli and Marco is a better passer by far. Morrow is a severely one dimensional player and his shooting was emphasized in the GS system. I would go as far as to predict zero burn and yet another flop for him in TO. Where does he fit in the rotation unless Belli is shipped from whence he came?
Travis Outlaw makes the most sense for this team, long at 6' 9" and can hit the 3.
I will pass on all the other mentionables including Barnes. He belongs on a close to championship team and could only steal minutes from our younger developing players. Pointless!!!
Having said all that I can concur with many of the previous postings on Gomez, entirely a BC move. He can shoot the 3 and might be useful when defending some of the stronger SF such as mello (BC reasoning, not mine).
Keon Clark, best center prospect the raptors ever had. All of 221 lbs soaking wet (joint in hand also included).
