I mean, when you think about it he was leaving anyways. Why not with a bang? Too bad he hasn't blasted $arver publicly yet.

Exactly. Barkley will stand up to $arver's ridiculous cost cutting moves, and if he is fired, we all know he will go out with a bang, and tarnish Sarver's image.
No one will want to work for Sarver anymore, and no one will want to play for the Suns.
Sarver will then have to sell the team.

RT @STEIN_LINE_HQ ESPN sources: Highly respected player agent Lon Babby has emerged as candidate to replace Kerr with Suns. (Confirmed)
Is he confirming the rumor or the hire?
Highly respected player agent Lon Babby has emerged as an unexpected candidate to head the Phoenix Suns' restructured front-office, according to sources with knowledge of the Suns' plans.
Sources told ESPN.com that Suns owner Robert Sarver is increasingly interested in replacing the successful Steve Kerr with a revamped structure that includes non-traditional voices as well as traditional personnel experts.
Babby, sources said, is getting strong consideration to lead the new department.
Sarver declined comment when reached Saturday night, saying only that he doesn't foresee finalizing his hires for another week or two.
San Antonio's Tim Duncan, Boston's Ray Allen and Suns swingman Grant Hill are current Babby clients.
Babby, who worked as a lawyer for the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles for nearly 20 years before he began representing NBA players, could not be immediately reached for comment Saturday night.
