I really don't understand why both sections haven't been fully merged yet.

This is nothing "surprising" you can see this from the draft-day move of Miami clearing more cap room.
I just feel very, very bad for Cleveland.
Huh? What about what Chicago did to clear cap room on draft day?
There were a lot of teams trying to do exactly what we did. Tons of teams were setting up for the FA. We just reeled them in...
That's the question, isn't it? Did you reel them in, or was it prearranged? If it was prearranged as it appears, don't you see the difference between the heat clearing cap space the day of the draft and the Bulls doing the same? The Bulls thought they were competing for LeBron or Wade, who in reality weren't even available.

Magic planned on getting 2 of them but Tmac was ready to take less so he could play in his hometown. Look like it was going to happen but David Robinson talked Tim Duncan out of going to Orlando.

Everyone in the media blames LeBron for having a bad game, but his team wasn't that good. They just had gotten Antawn Jamison and overpaid bum , they had no flexiblity with a bunch of bad contracts, people would have to be dumb to think LeBron was staying. That was why Chicago, Knicks were supposedly favored to land him. Riley just had a better plan. We the Heat had being going through this plan for 2 years. which we got lucky, because Lamar Odom didnt' sign with us, also Amare trade didn't come through, which we got lucky to still have a lot of caproom.
Also the fact LeBron went out the playoffs to the same team Heat got eliminated. It was 100 percent the Cavs management. They fired their coach, their GM, they have no flexiblity to add an improve the team, and the only thing the Cavs depended was a pity us campagin. Also Kobe just won another title, LeBron sees that Kobe wins game 7, shooting 6 of 24. This totally was too much for LeBron. Riley was planning for this for a while, we go lucky, LeBron's team got eliminated in the second round. And we had been planning for this, to add another max or two next to Wade.
Also Wade, Bosh and Bron were all from the same draft class, also won a gold medal together, so it was easier sell than people thought it was.
Cosmic_Backlash wrote:how do people not get this is tampering? The fact that if Wade ever mentions anything to anyone in the Heat organization about them wanting to play together is tampering. Let's be real. You really think Wade held a free agent summit, they all agreed to play together, and then didn't proceed to tell anyone in the Heat organization that he had Bosh and LeBron wanting to play for the Heat? I'm sorry, I'm calling bull.
Yes, we can't prove it, but every fan, including heat fans, should understand this is tampering. It doesn't matter if people think it's ok or not, it is what it is.
What Heat fans need to understand besides just going "you mad" is WHY this is bad for the league. I guarantee you that if other teams besides the Heat knew how this would have resolved, different free agents would have been pursued, some of them wouldn't have dumped all of their hopes and dreams into getting LeBron, Dwyane, Chris, or Amare. This summer shaped the structure of several teams, and only 2 are getting one of the "Big 4" and Amare, is just a very, very small part of the "Big 4". I feel inclined to include him because he is very good basketball player.
This is why it's bad for the league.
I fully expect a "you mad" in response to thisbecause well, that's what Heat fans use to refute things these days, rather than putting together coherent sentences or making sense.

The NBA says Dwyane Wade did not break any league tampering rules by saying he wants to talk with other marquee players before deciding whether to stay with the Miami Heat.
...
The NBA only metes out discipline in what it said are "the most egregious" cases, and said Wade's comments "do not meet that standard."
Earlier this week, Wade reiterated that he will discuss options with LeBron James and other stars about their options this summer.

That would leave little to no room left to sign all of them. I'm pretty sure Wade, LeBron, and Bosh "talked" about it casually, but by no means did they plan to fail their teams to go to Miami. With LeBron "quitting" in the playoffs, it makes no sense that he would do that just for a reason to leave Cleveland. He has a chance for a ring, and he's going to try to make the best of it.

Calling out each band wagoner I see. Just so all the real Heat fans can enjoy what great accomplishments their management were able to achieve.
