Can't believe Haywood dropped so far... very happy to have him.

Problem I see with Hibbert is that he's not among the more quick footed centers in the NBA (7'2 and 280lbs kinda limits how quickly you can get up and down the floor). With Wall, Gordon and Favors you're more prone to be pushing the ball up. Hibbert would become a liability in that respect since there will be a lot of 4 on 5's for the initial several seconds. Aldrich is also no gazelle but he's more mobile than Hibbert and probably would have been a better pick in terms of fit...especially when you consider that both Wall and Gordon can setup guys and Aldrich is a terrific finisher.

IMO, Haywood is one of the best interior defenders in the NBA. I have plenty of offense, but imo, he was clearly the best Center available.
On Odom: I needed a 4, and for the system that I was running, he was clearly the BPA. He's a great passer, he can run the floor, and he can put it on the floor, as well as dish it. He's definitely going to have a much bigger role in Sacramento, and will be the go to guy down low, as well as the receiver for Deron's PnR. So expect his PPG/shots to go way up. Look what Deron did for Millsap/Boozer. A great PG makes everyone around them better.

However not the best fit
