Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect Kyle Drabek will make his major league debut sometime in the next few weeks, Sportsnet has learned.
The exact date has yet to be announced, but the club has confirmed that the 22-year-old will get a start before the end of the season.
Drabek will be in the rotation for the rest of the season, likely making three starts, Anthopoulos says.
NH's quick exit from the playoffs, which kept Drabek's innings on a par with last year's total, helped seal the decision on his promotion.

I think Drabek, barring injury or collapse in performance, will win the #5 spot next season. His innings are in line as he'll finish with about 175 or so this season (give or take), so he should be prepared to handle a big league season in 2011.
Good to have something to look forward to.

Not according to Lott

BTW, Drabek's debut Wednesday will be on Sportsnet, not Sportsnet-1.
