Jennings had a very good rookie year he will most likely be better than Felton. The only people saying otherwise are Knick homers on this board. Brandon Jennings his ROOKIE year:
1) Had a 55 point game;

2) Shot a pretty good % the first half of last season (around 45ish or so and it dropped once he hit the rookie wall, tired, and did not have Bogut on the court). Realistically, his % will increase as his shot selection improves, his stamina improves, his jumper will improves, his teammates will take pressure off him, he becomes smarter. Kidd has shot a bad % his whole career, so has Billups. They are both considered great pg's. This attempt to deride Jennings based solely on fg%, twitter and dancing is pathetic;

3) Jennings shot 37% from three which is great. To compare, I believe Gallo shot about 38% from three;

4) Jennings shot 82% from the ft line which is also great. It is about equal to what Gallo shot;

5) Jennings averaged 1.3 steals which is good;

6) Jennings is fast, can create his own shot, is still super young and has helped carry a team to the playoffs which is more than any of the young Knicks have done.

In short, stop acting like homers, being a Knicks fan does not mandate advocating ridiculous opinions. Jennings has a great amount of upside and based upon his ft and three % should be able to improve his fg%.

i think players like jennings are going to be slowly phased out in the nba. you just can't win titles with them as core players. it's one thing to be a swing-type player, replete with the skills to play either of two positions, it's quite another to be a tweener, lacking in the necessary skills to be at least competent in one of two positions.

in the former case you have genuine versatility which adds to cohesion and adaptability, in the latter you have weaknesses that detract from the overall cohesiveness of team play. eventually good defensive teams expose and exploit those weaknesses.

*shrug* I understand being from Milwaukee there's not much for you to be hopeful or positive about so it's hard for you to listen to someone not worship one of the few redeeming things about your city, but BJ's much more of a scorer than he is a playmaker and you know that to. It's like when I was working in Cleveland and people would get furious with me when I pointed out that Braylon Edwards had some of the most god awful drops in the league. But because he was one of 2 or 3 redeeming things about that city he got idolized and people get pissed when you critique their idols.
