They had a season where they overachieved by a lot and now their heads cant be removed from their asses.

The Sucks wont even win 41 games this year, I guarantee you that

Hey CapitalEdge, that is my post that you sigged. I can't help but notice you changed some things.

That's straight shameful. If what I said was so ridiculous on it's own, why did you have to change it?

:lol: :lol: :lol: Did he really do that? Well, you have to admit it's easier to argue with someone when you can make up what they say.

I seem to recall Walsh and Dantoni backpedaling on their decision not to take Jennings claiming they had not fully scouted him prior to the draft. This was while Jennings was dominating games, Hill was strapped to the bench and Duhon was impersonating diarrhea. But somehow, the Realgm Knick Homers are claiming Walsh would not take Jennings if he had a do over :lol: :roll: :-?

What was so good about his rookie year? Take away his hype and his 55 pt game against GSW, and what do you have?

Not much.

Here is a reality check:

Brandon Jennings his ROOKIE year:
1) Had a 55 point game;

2) Shot a pretty good % the first half of last season (around 45ish or so and it dropped once he hit the rookie wall, tired, and did not have Bogut on the court). Realistically, his % will increase as his shot selection improves, his stamina improves, his jumper will improves, his teammates will take pressure off him, he becomes smarter. Kidd has shot a bad % his whole career, so has Billups. They are both considered great pg's. This attempt to deride Jennings based solely on fg%, twitter and dancing is pathetic;

3) Jennings shot 37% from three which is great. To compare, I believe Gallo shot about 38% from three;

4) Jennings shot 82% from the ft line which is also great. It is about equal to what Gallo shot;

5) Jennings averaged 1.3 steals which is good;

6) Jennings is fast, can create his own shot, is still super young and has helped carry a team to the playoffs which is more than any of the young Knicks have done.

In short, stop acting like homers, being a Knicks fan does not mandate advocating ridiculous opinions. Jennings has a great amount of upside and based upon his ft and three % should be able to improve his fg%.

Hmmm, this doesn't have much to do w/ our team its just the fact that some of your fans think Felton is better than Jennings or Felton was going to be a better fit in your coaches system than Jennings was, just really sad. BTW, YOU SPELLED (Please Use More Appropriate Word) WRONG, DUMBA**.

i think players like jennings are going to be slowly phased out in the nba. you just can't win titles with them as core players. it's one thing to be a swing-type player, replete with the skills to play either of two positions, it's quite another to be a tweener, lacking in the necessary skills to be at least competent in one of two positions.

in the former case you have genuine versatility which adds to cohesion and adaptability, in the latter you have weaknesses that detract from the overall cohesiveness of team play. eventually good defensive teams expose and exploit those weaknesses.

you spelled (Please Use More Appropriate Word) wrong :lol:

I think you're trying to infer that Gallo can be a core player and Jennings cannot. If you ask me, Gallo is a tweener too.

cgf wrote:*shrug* I understand being from Milwaukee there's not much for you to be hopeful or positive about so it's hard for you to listen to someone not worship one of the few redeeming things about your city, but BJ's much more of a scorer than he is a playmaker and you know that to. It's like when I was working in Cleveland and people would get furious with me when I pointed out that Braylon Edwards had some of the most god awful drops in the league. But because he was one of 2 or 3 redeeming things about that city he got idolized and people get pissed when you critique their idols.

Wow. An anti-Milwaukee blast? Got any more tired cliches and stereotypes to entertain us with? Like how the big city/coastal residents in this country are ignorant about alot of things and have laughable superiority complexes? You are probally right though and we don't have much to be hopeful in this city. It really is a living hell here! Did you know we just got the internet out here? I didn't think they would be able to provide dial-up service to an igloo, let alone a wigwam! Truly this is an age of wonders. Maybe one day, Milwaukee too can have establishments where you can order overpriced, colorful alcoholic beverages. Maybe one day we too can have stores like Versace and Gucci!

I came across this article on the internet today. It only took me 8 hours for my room sized computer to be able to process this webpage, but it was quite interesting!

Why did you change what I said in your sig? Is it because you know there is a difference?

isnt that a step up from having heads stuck up your asses even though you havent had a season where your overachieved in oh say the last decade?

gavran wrote:The Sucks wont even win 41 games this year, I guarantee you that

i guess thats the difference between the bucks and knicks, for the bucks a 41 win season would be a downgrade, for the knicks it would be your best season since 2001

Boy, this thread sure took a nice turn.

Now people are just bashing each others cities.

Guess not, but it's still getting personal. People insulting entire fanbases, y'know?

Yeah, again I'd have a look at which fans were leading the charge on that front....

Or you could just read my sig, then laugh. Don't worry though, people were definitely bashing Milwaukee :D
