This is a tough time of year to stay in shape. We're not outside much anymore, holidays are coming up. I do tend to eat a lot more garbage once football season starts.
For those of you who have completed P90X (I recommend doing it twice before moving on), I would suggest P90X Plus as well as some of Tony's One on One workouts to keep things fresh.
P90X Plus has 5 new workouts that you mix in with the original P90X
Interval X Plus - Cardio routine and a good one. Each move has 3 speeds, slow, medium, max. Good burner
Kenpo Cardio - A bit more intense version of the Kenpo you did in P90X
Upper Plus - Great workout, covers entire upper body, chest, back, biceps, shouders, tris
Total Body Plus - Just what it says
Abs/Core Plus - Very tough
Each month Tony has a new One on One workout. $20 each. I've picked up a few of them and mix them into my weekly routine. I don't like them as much as the P90X and P90X Plus routines but they're still good. It's just Tony working out by himself at home, talking to the camera guy (who himself is annoying). The one's I have so far:
Volume 1, Disk 1 - Plyo Legs - An alternative to the Plyo you get in the original program
Volume 1, Disk 4 - Just Arms - I like this one. Biceps, Forearms, Tri's. Over and over. Killer.
Volume 1, Disk 5 - 30/15 - Upper Body Massacre - 30 Pushups, 15 pullups, 12 rounds. Different kinds of pushups/pullups each time. Very tough.
Volume 1, Disk 10 - Medicine Ball Core Cardio - This is a short workout but a good one. It can be as tough as you want it to be depending on how heavy of a ball you use. Tony uses 6 pounds in the workout, I use 8.
Volume 1, Disk 12 - Diamond Delts - Shoulders and more shoulders
I don't have any of Volume 2 or Volume 3. Some of the Volume 3 workouts will be included in the new P90X MC2, coming out next fall.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
