Wolves v Pacers, Wed, 6 PM, (BYOP)

Post#1 » by Klomp » Wed Oct 13, 2010 6:39 am

I was thinking about how excited I am to see George and Stephenson. Then I looked at their stats...

George - 2.3 ppg, .143 FG%, .143 FG% (21.7 mpg)
Stephenson - 4 ppg, .286 FG%, .167 3FG% (13.7 mpg)

By comparison...

Johnson - 10.5 ppg, .727 FG%, .800 3FG% (21.5 mpg)

Lol those FG% are horrible. W4 has been a great so far. He takes only high percentage looks and converts them.

I was excited to read the Nuggets game thread against us. Then I realized they did not have one. :(

Ditto, but i guess being pre-season and all, and playing the Wolves and all, and being Denver with Anderson, Martin and Billups out and all, it really just didn't count enough to warrant one.

Take a deep breath and say to yourself "It's only the preseason". It would be great if our preseason play is indicative of our actual talent level, but it doesn't always work that way.

maybe not indicative of the talent, but it seems to be indicative of play style, which is athletic and intense.

Whatever, we are still the NBA champions.

Heading into tonight's game at Indiana, the Wolves lead the NBA in scoring (113.0) and three-point shooting (.531). They rank second in assists (23.7) and blocked shots (7.3), third in rebounding percentage (.539) and fourth in forcing turnovers (22.3).

Even if it is only pre-season, this is what I like to see.

BYOP = Bring Your Own Pie

...but I would guess there will be none.

Heads up, game starts at 6, not 7 (oops, my bad)

If you have LP Broadband, you can get the Indy radio feed.

Shooting 3-11 to start. Make that 4-12 after a Brewer 3

11-10 IND, 7 mins left
