Based on games 1 and 2, absolutely...

Greene has been 100% ineffective.

Casspi has been playing well, but Garcia has clearly been a LOT better.

Garcia is playing as well as ever. If Westphal is about earning minutes rather than grooming the young guys for the future, he'll start Garcia. But what his priorities are right now is unclear.

heck yea...i never knew why it was a question between casspi and greene. BUt when I see Cisco come off bench, I feel so confident that the team is going to do better, so not sure if that means he shoudl be 6th man.

Im not sure i want to start garcia, he's good but investing in him over the young guys seems like its counter productive to the longterm success of our franchise.

Based off of what has happened so far, yes and no. I mean he has clearly been world's better than Casspi and Donte so far, but we're also only 2 games into the season. What I'd like to see is Westphal stick to something for more than 3 games at a time and continue to stick with it even if it's not working immediately.

From what I've seen in the first 2 games this is how I would distribute the minutes (until dally is 100%):
PG Beno 28/ Tyreke 10
SG Tyreke 28/ Garcia 15/ Greene 5
SF Casspi 25/ Garcia 15/ Greene 8
PF Landry 30/ Thompson 10/ Jackson 8
C Cousins 22/ Thompson 12/ Dally 10/ Jackson 4

i think thats a solid rotation

I still like Garcia much better as a 6th man coming off the bench. It doesn't matter who starts, it matters who finishes and gets more time on the floor. Garcia plays much better as a utility backcourt player and provides the spark off the bench that we had with Bobby Jackson. I really envision Garcia as a blend of B-Jax and Doug Christie (without the psycho wife). And that blend is better suited as a 6th man.

Garcia should only start if Greene or Casspi are hurt...and even then I might start Wright.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I don't know. Personally, I see Garcia more as a 2 who can bring up the ball than a 3.

I am SO GLAD that he's finally hitting his groove. We all knew he was good, but there was always something getting in the way of his development, whether it be general team turmoil, injuries, or what have you. FInally he can start a season without all that crap.

PG: Tyreke
SG: Cisco
SF: Wright or Omri
PF: Landry
C: Cousins

Beno, JT, Daly, Head, and Donte off the bench.

This is the best lineup we can put out there on the floor. Shooting won't be a problem, plenty of ball handlers, and we can capitalize on our size advantage.

I think Cicso deserves the start at the 2. Put Beno in the second unit with Cousins, Thompson & co.

Cisco is probably the Kings best perimeter defender and long range shooter as well. He will open lanes for Tyreke due to his shooting prowess.

+1000

Stick Daly up front with Cousins too. Beno/Landry would be a sick bench. 8-)

yup i agree. tyreke, cisco, casspi, cousins, dally. beno, landry can share 6th man rolls. someone please teach cousins to play defense with his feet and not his hands. jt too. move your ass and quit grabbing people and getting tikky tak fouls. cousins needs to be more agressive offensivly too. more in the post though, only shoot outside if wide open.

I think Cousins is starting to settle in a little defensively. He's starting to rack up some blocks at least. Not a defensive force by far but it's growth. Not to make an excuse but I think the rookie calls all throughout preseason and early on have really shattered his confidence on that end of the floor. It's almost like he's afraid to even do anything at times. It's getting better though, hopefully that trend continues.

I really hope Westphal goes further into developing that lineup. Sure, there may be times where it's not as effective as others but in terms of skillset there really isn't anything it can't do. Set it free, and let it grow!

My favorite lineup is.

Beno
Evans
Casspi
Cousins
Dalembert

That luneup has very solid chemistry. I just wish we had a decent pg otherthan beno si that evans and udrih could be on the floot together more iften.
