Head's D on Kobe was good on a few possessions. It was far from "incredible" and it wasn't good enough to make up for his over all sucktitude. Donte or Cisco could have done just as well if not better and not killed our offense.
Not true, and more than that Landry has looked very comfortable as a spot up shooter this season either in isolation play or off the drive and dish from Tyreke. Didn't say "primarily" an off the ball player. I think they could mix up his game and moreso make it a little easier for him while simultaneously making the team more dangerous as a whole.
It's completely true. Jason is perfectly capable of playing off the ball, spotting up from midrange and cutting to the basket. That's how he should really be used offensively.
And I didn't say Landry isn't fine spotting up. He is. That's just not using his full talents. And whether you like it or not, playing Landry with Tyreke and Cousins means, but its very function, that Landry will be playing off the ball more than on it.
Of course, this is a little moot now with Cousins coming off the bench, but only kind of. Landry is still better served coming off the bench, being at the center of everything. He has proven this before. Consider how annoyed a lot of us are with Landry right now and how much every Houston fan loved the hell out of that guy. There's a reason for that. It's because he was used properly in Houston and he was helping his team more.
